Hotel in Downtown Asheville, Asheville
Located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Cambria Hotel Downtown Asheville features a fitness center, terrace and shared lounge in Asheville. This is an excellent hotel. The room was large and well appointed. The bed was large and comfortable. Valet parking was efficient and affordable. Rates were reasonable for the time of year. What makes this hotel outstanding though is it’s staff. From our greeting and complementary champagne on arrival to our checkout and small pot of honey the staff were amazing. Two days After we left the hotel we realised we had left some hiking jackets in the wardrobe in our room. A phone call and some text messages was all it took for the staff to hunt for our jackets and ship them to us overnight at our next destination. I cannot recommend this hotel enough

Easy walk to shopping, restaurants and art galleries. Would recommend Salsas Carribbean and Isa's French Bistro restaurants. Was disappointed in Tupelo Honey. Trip was to visit Monet exhibit at the Biltmore. It more than met expectation.
Asheville is beautiful, the biltmore is a must see, and the lazoom bus tour is so much fun! BUT the locals are not friendly at all, downtown there is no parking, the people downtown are out there to say it nicely. Surrounding towns like black mountain have a much friendlier atmosphere.
If you are traveling with an animal note there is an additional $60 charge per animal, this information is not provided at the time of booking. If you are traveling with a disabled guest and need to be on the first floor, these rooms are more expensive and additional fees apply. The rooms are modern but the facility has a serious bug problem and is in need of pest control. There was a dead bug on my bed when I turned down the bed for the night. There were also a variety of bugs crawling all around the room, so if insects and spiders are not your idea of a relaxing stay then this is not the place for you. Unfortunately the night staff that checked us in had a bad attitude was unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills. He gave off the vibe of not really caring if we stayed or not and what ever problem we may have had it was ours to figure out. Not the welcome one is use to or expects when checking in. Definitely not a place I will be returning to or recommending to others.
We did not realize that Asheville was as big as it is. It is definitely a city. Many of the sidewalks were dirty and in ill repair. Like most cities there was a sprinkling of homeless people. We found it difficult to navigate around as the roads are somewhat confusing. However, we did enjoy several of the breweries that we stopped in. It is very close to The Biltmore and we enjoyed our visit there immensely. (plan to spend at least 4 or 5 hours there) On the rainy day that we were there we spent several hours visiting the Grove Park Inn Resort. The resort offers several scenic restaurants and many shops.
Asheville is an amazing place for those that love the outdoors, art, music and food. It is a city located right in the NC Blue Ridge mountains. The weather when we went (late April) was varied as expected. One day of 80's the rest 60's-70's, however it can get very warm later in the Spring and Summer. The River Arts is a "not to miss" area with an enormous amount of studios of varying types and artists very open to discussing their creations. Downtown is very hilly and restaurants are set into the hills with music around every corner. Although we chose not to visit the Biltmore, if you have never been to a "Gilded Age" mansion, don't miss this. Visiting is a 4-5 hour event.
The Biltmore is interesting, nice to see once or twice, but everything is very expensive. Lunch at Antler Village was around $100. Aloft hotel was just okay, very overpriced, dead bolt would not function, hotel was noisy, outside view from room barely okay. I am a season passholder at Biltmore, had to pay $90 for my guest to tour the house, I will not renew my season pass.. When you pay $260 for a small hotel room at Aloft, $15.00 to park, and $37.00 for a just okay breakfast, it is a ripoff.
Love Asheville. This was perhaps the best location for downtown. Clean new and very spacious. We walked to restaurants daily. The exercise room is perhaps the best I have seen in years. The only shortcoming is the location of the pool off the parking lot but it is nice and open until 10. I didn’t check out the rooftop restaurant which is supposed to be great but in AVL there are so many great eats it is hard to eat in a hotel. Altogether would definitely come back!
This hotel was awesome. It was one of the best rooms my wife and I had ever stayed in. The staff was very friendly and the bar was great. The location was amazing. I don't think the location could be any better in downtown Asheville. My wife and I had a great time! Thanks Kimpton!
We always stay here when we visit our family and friends in Asheville. The staff is always great and helpful, the amenities are always kept in shape, and the location is great for a quick trip downtown or a cheap Uber ride downtown too. Breakfast was great too.
Very clean and comfortable hotel, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Great location right off the interstate and only a short drive to downtown Asheville. The beds were comfortable and the room was very nice, would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very pleasant! The best part of the room was the "black out" shade over the window. We slept amazing and enjoyed our stay here. We will definitley stay here our next trip to Asheville!
Ubication. 5 minutes from Asheville downtown and Biltmore State. Great place to stay for exploring the mountains around. Good kitchen with good features. Well equipped. Nice swimming pool, with nice open air fireplace.
Great location in central downtown Asheville making it really easy to get around to restaurants and shops. A quick drive to The Biltmore and Blue Ridge Parkway. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms and lovely staff!
I love this hotel. Best views of the mountain and the city, Walking distance to downtown Asheville. Pay a little extra for the penthouse suite you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to go back.
We've visited three Best Western hotels in our recent trip to the USA, and they're a pretty good chain when looking at price/quality. Breakfast was included, and a decent spread.
Very clean and trendy hotel. Beautiful view of the mountains from the pool area. You can't beat the location for being able to walk to basically anywhere in downtown Asheville.
Perfect location no more than 10 minutes from all the great locations including downtown. Staff was friendly and willing to accommodate to your needs.
The room was clean and the hotel was located close to downtown Asheville.
It was a good location, close to downtown Asheville
Well kept smaller hotel. Close to downtown area

Asheville
The house we stayed in, #16, was furnished very nicely and decorated with items from Western NC. It also had a large, fully furnished kitchen with a Kurig, which was wonderful having coffee quickly. There was a great assortment of board games that our grandchildren really enjoyed. There was also an outside porch swing and a tree swing that our grandchildren loved!
Asheville
The cabin exceeded all of our exceptions. EVERY amenity was provided. The maintenance staff unloaded our car and carried down all the stairs into the cabin and refused any tip The cabin looked like it had been scrubbed from top to bottom The kitchen was beyond stocked with utensils 5 star rating
It was a fantastic experience in every way. The setting, rooms, breakfast, grounds, and Antler Village were wonderful!
