They gave us a simple breakfast with muffins and coffee because of covid but besides that everything was good. The lobby was nice and welcoming. The check in was the fastest checking I ever had.

Kimpton - Hotel Arras, an IHG Hotel, Cambria Hotel Downtown Asheville, and The Inn On Biltmore Estate got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Asheville.
Seemed clean and, of course, very pretty. Too much highway construction during our stay. Seems the construction company was doing too much at one time. Found folks outside of the city to be pleasant and friendly, in town not so much.
Asheville is a wonderful place to visit for all kinds of travelers. From the outdoor activities like hiking & kayaking, to the many different shops, spas, local art galleries, and eateries, there’s something for everyone! There are so many interesting things waiting for you to find and explore! If you get tired just find a spot to sit back and take in the glorious scenery!
This was a place to go to if you wanted to get CBD gummies and look at retro art. The shops downtown were all like witchcraft stores with 70’s stuff. Then the streets were all up and down and exhausting. I thought it would be a nice romantic getaway. Nope. Went at the beginning of spring and weather was bad and no flowers blooming. Tried this Cuban rooftop place called Hemingway’s Cuba (3.9 stars) and the food was terrible. The view was ok but buildings were in the way and weather was bad so “Sunset” on the rooftop failed. We are in our mid 50’s. Didn’t even try the mansion. Didn’t want to walk around anymore. Might be fine for younger people but not for us.
We only stopped on a trip across country, unfortunately it was raining for the few hours we visited the area. We did go to Citizen Vinyl for coffee and pastries which I highly recommend if your interested in music.
It's a really nice place, rich in history and tradition. The people are warm, friendly and did not have an rude encounter with anyone. I love the downtown area and the sunset e-bike ride tour that I took. Highly recommend it.
The atau was great, soft beds, clean rooms, friendly staff, only issue I had was there was a dog in the eatery were the food was and was leashed in front of food, I'm allergic to dogs and couldn't even go in for breakfast, but even if I wasn't I feel that animals shouldn't be allowed in were people have to eat.
We had a very nice stay at the Windsor. The hotel has an ideal location for a foodie tour of downtown Asheville. We walked to Curate, Chai Pani, Cucina24, and there were so many other choices. The room was very well stocked, we especially liked the coffee set up in the room, full kitchenette and complimentary drinks in the lobby. The service was very good with great communication and lots of information when we needed it. The king bed was comfortable and the bedroom was very quiet and dark (off the street).
This stay was the first for my family and I in Asheville,N.C. Having been to this city 20 years ago. It was a lot more family friendly and a lot more hotel choices. The Country Inn & Suites was a perfect stay with a friendly staff and great amenities. The breakfast was always hot and plentiful. The room was clean and quiet regardless of the many families with little ones that was staying at the time we were there. A short drive thru Tunnel Road to downtown Asheville and the Nature Centre.
Love Asheville. This was perhaps the best location for downtown. Clean new and very spacious. We walked to restaurants daily. The exercise room is perhaps the best I have seen in years. The only shortcoming is the location of the pool off the parking lot but it is nice and open until 10. I didn’t check out the rooftop restaurant which is supposed to be great but in AVL there are so many great eats it is hard to eat in a hotel. Altogether would definitely come back!
The hotel very close to the entrance of the Biltmore, which is why I selected it. Also close to downtown Asheville. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. For some reason they upgraded me to a room with a jacuzzi, which was a pleasant surprise! Good breakfast, enjoyed not having to find breakfast out or submit to Starbucks.
the location is perfect for experiencing downtown Asheville. The King Suite was the largest space I've ever seen in a hotel; much bigger than I was expecting, with a panoramic view of the corner where the hotel is situated. Everything we wanted to visit was within walking distance.
Good location with an easy drive to downtown Asheville as well as close access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Pleasant and pretty quiet room. Reasonable wifi although slightly unreliable as our room was probably furthest from the central hub. Good parking.
I always stay at this hotel when in Asheville. It's convenient, clean, pet friendly, the rooms are quiet even near the elevators, and the downtown location cant be beat. Parking garage in the hotel, free validation from hotel when you check out.
The sketchy activity in the community and area has now leaked into this hotel. Most of the guests are up to no good, yet still stay there even if their actions present a threat to others. Cheap prices tend to attract the wrong demographics.
Asheville
The proximity to the downtown area was its best attribute, although that part felt a little less secure than other places nearby. The price was good and it was clean, with a comfortable bed.
Great location. Just a short car ride from Asheville city center. Big modern and comfortable room. Breakfast was nice. The whole hotel was very clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
We come here every year the same time for my husbands birthday weekend and always have the best time. We love the kimpton in Asheville. It’s our favorite. Highly recommend it!
The hotel is quaint and cozy with a great location. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Asheville.
