    Great food and art options.

Great food and art options. Laid back mtn. town atmosphere is great! Not so great is the amount of homeless and mentally ill people who make you feel unsafe. I was followed by one such individual but that’s on me because I was out at midnight looking for food options.

Enjoyed walking the down town area.

Enjoyed walking the down town area. Interesting shops and arts/crafts stores. Always enjoy shopping at Mast General Store. On the down side, I am a senior citizen from the old school. Downtown Asheville is too "woke" for me. I don't expect to return.

Such an interesting and beautiful city.

Such an interesting and beautiful city. There’s plenty to do, numerous restaurants to enjoy excellent food, and the people are friendly. The spa at the Omni Grove Park Inn is really a treat. We enjoyed the Asheville museum and then French Broad Chocolate Lounge - yum! My favorite breakfast place was The Rhu; their quiche and pastries are Amazing! Biscuit Head is a great place to start the day as well. The Biltmore is always enjoyable; I notice some new detail each time I visit and look forward to exploring more of the grounds there when it warms up again. If you enjoy the writings of Thomas Wolfe, the house and now museum where he lived is worth a visit.

I was there to see the Biltmore Estate at night for the Christmas decorations. It was amazing! I highly recommend seeing the estate during the holiday season. We had drinks at the Alchemist. The mixologist fixed us a drink according to our requests - gin, floral, a little sweet! It was delicious. Then we dined at Bear's BBQ. It was incredible. Great bbq. I would eat there again and again. I plan to return to Asheville in the summer to see the area in its summer splendor.

I was expecting it to be much warmer than it was.

I was expecting it to be much warmer than it was. We live in the north east, and I had assumed that NC would be warm even in January. I was wrong! While we were in Asheville we visited the River Arts District (three times!) and also toured the Biltmore estate and the accompanying village. The breakfast that was included in the room rate at the Princess Anne Hotel was among the best meals we had during our visit. It wasn't buffet style like most hotels have. We were given a breakfast menu to choose from, there was a special offered every day, and we were served by a waitress. The lobby always has a fresh fruit flavored water available, and a charcuterie board every evening - all free. There was also a nice selection of wines - but as a non-drinker, I don't know if or what any additional cost might have been for the wine. Our room had been upgraded upon arrival at no additional cost to us, which afforded us a living room/kitchenette with space for a dining table in addition to the bedroom and private bathroom.

The Asheville Hop On Hop Off bus is a must.

The Asheville Hop On Hop Off bus is a must. You get a preview of the whole area for 2 days. Each ride is 90 minutes and stops at many of the popular hotels. We especially liked viewing the Biltmore Estate and downtown Asheville with the Arcade and an old Woolworth building. Many architectural treasures in downtown and public art. We stayed at the Omni Oak Park Resort and Spa which is an historic hotel with many activities and amenities. It makes any stay in Asheville extra special!! We also used Asheville taxi service, which was very reliable.

Fantastic choice for downtown Asheville! Easy to get to, clearly defined parking right behind the hotel, and an elevator to the 3rd floor where the lofts are located. Well stocked kitchen, including k-cup and drip coffee makers (along with coffee), large refrigerator, dishwasher, and most kitchen items you would need. Comfortable large rooms, each with a flat screen tv. Clean bathrooms with walk in shower. Loved staying here! It was perfect for our Christmas trip to the Biltmore. There were many fantastic restaurants nearby too.

Hotel is great, brand new with very convenient location. Super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very clean, spacious, mattress and pillows were super comfortable, no complaints at all. Very pleasant surprise is breakfast, you could literally find everything there: hot, cold meals, yogurts, bread, juice, etc. Also very convenient and nice service was shuttle to downtown. I would definitely stay there again.

Very clean spaces and very comfortable. The staff was fantastic. Very friendly, personable, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Made us feel very welcome and well taken care of. Breakfast was average. Server was professional and provided great customer service. Location is ideal for those visiting Biltmore Estate and downtown Asheville. T.G.I.F Fridays restaurant attached to hotel was subpar. Took quite awhile to get meal and when arrived cooked broccoli was raw, lettuce in salad was brown. Server was apologetic for taking so long to bring our meal.

The room was beautiful, we stayed in a corner room that had plenty of views of the mountains and the city. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and polite. All hotel staff did excellent work making sure we were comfortable and felt welcome and wanted. The location is the best part though. Easy to walk to anywhere we wanted to go the whole stay.

Hotel Indigo was very nice! My husband and I spent the weekend in Asheville to celebrate our anniversary. The downtown restaurants and shopping are within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel very close to the entrance of the Biltmore, which is why I selected it. Also close to downtown Asheville. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. For some reason they upgraded me to a room with a jacuzzi, which was a pleasant surprise! Good breakfast, enjoyed not having to find breakfast out or submit to Starbucks.

We had a great stay here while in Asheville. The location is great as it's more affordable than staying downtown and it's easy to get around. Check in & check out was super easy. We also appreciated the quiet, comfortable room to live while the two of us worked remotely. Wifi was solid for both of us to work too!
