Great location, very accommodating and customer oriented staff, amazing city and Mountain View from our room, loved the complimentary coffee in the mornings and wine happy hour, clean rooms, couldn’t hear other guests above or beside us and appreciated the extra door to close before entering our room as we were near the elevators. We never heard other guests getting on/off.

West Asheville is a funky, artsy, throwback kind of place that is reminiscent of the 1960s in vibe. But it's crowded, full of traffic, poor parking, and lines to get any food or service. It's nice to see for a short stay but nothing special enough to come back. The Biltmore is awesome, but now it's way too expensive for most people to visit.

The Biltmore Estate is one of my favorite places.
The Biltmore Estate is one of my favorite places. Never get tired of visiting there. The Farmers Market is fun. A beautiful area of the country with mild weather. Chimney Rock Park is a fun short trip from Asheville. Also the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Our Jeep tour of the Blue Ridge mountains was very scenic and the guide was interesting and very informative of the area. The Biltmore mansion and winery were also beautiful and well worth visiting and touring. We would have liked to have a couple more days in the area to see more.

We just took an overnight trip to Asheville and loved it! It even made us think about moving here. :-)
We have been coming to this area for 17 years and had never visited the Biltmore Estate, so that was the main focus of our trip. We enjoyed it much more than expected. The house is an architectural and interior design marvel, the gardens are magnificent, and the grounds are extensive.
I also love that Asheville has such an attractive walkable downtown area with lots of shops and restaurants. Our visit to an all-vegan restaurant, Rosetta's Kitchen, was a real highlight of our trip for me. As a vegan, I usually have only one dish I can eat in a restaurant, but here I could eat anything. It was a breath of fresh air.

We stayed overnight specifically to visit open studios at the River Arts District which did not disappoint. Wonderful restaurants abound - be sure to try the Sunny Point Cafe for breakfast. The downtown area has become rather gentrified and expensive but there are also more casual boho areas and the old Victorian neighborhoods with their lovely gardens are worth a detour off the main roads.

The downtown was cute and artsy , in general people friendly. It was a little disheartening to see the number of homeless people sitting on the streets and walking to shelters and laying on the ground. Some we saw in the same location multiple times while we walked around
Walking the 1.5 miles to the art district was loaded with homeless and construction.
This stay was the first for my family and I in Asheville,N.C. Having been to this city 20 years ago. It was a lot more family friendly and a lot more hotel choices. The Country Inn & Suites was a perfect stay with a friendly staff and great amenities. The breakfast was always hot and plentiful. The room was clean and quiet regardless of the many families with little ones that was staying at the time we were there. A short drive thru Tunnel Road to downtown Asheville and the Nature Centre.
A refurbed motel but none the worse for it. Convenient to park car outside, and roomy room
with good fittings and shampoo etc.
Very good value compared to other hotels in Asheville.
Stayed 3 nights and would stay again. No food except ok breakfast but restaurants nearby.
I've stayed here several times while traveling to the Asheville area. Good location with easy access to all. Quiet and just minutes from downtown. Very comfortable rooms and helpful staff.
