I thought the reception was amazing and very responsive to our needs. The room was lovely, very very nice. Fantastic, unique city with many food, shopping, nature, spiritual and cultural delights. Beautifully surrounded by the foothills of the southern Cascade mountains. A very special southern Oregon must-visit, especially in the summer when the Shakespeare Festival is on! Also, some of the most amazing homemade ice cream anywhere at Zoe's Cafe!
We like our hotel the Lithia Springs Spa and Lithia park otherwise Ashland was fair. The homeless situation in the town square was appalling and dirty. Did not feel safe walking in the downtown area with children due to that. We were reccommended Pie and Vine for a meal and it was terrible. Two dishes came cold and the waiter/manager refused to acknowledge or fix the issue. He was rude to other wait staff and they tried to apologize for him after he yelled at us and was disrespectful and rude.
My wife and I were frequent visitors to Ashland to watch plays at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. It has long been one of our favorite places. This last trip was my first since her passing, and it is still beautiful, vibrant and a wonderful getaway.
Ashland is a wonderful little town. Come for the Shakespeare but stay for the food, shopping and scenery. The only downside is that it's a tourist town, so be prepared to deal with lots of tourists!
A quaint small town with beautiful architecture and historic buildings. Lithia Park is a must. There also wine tasting nearby! Even if you’re passing through, stay in Ashland for just one night, you will not be disappointed!
Ashland was great, hotel room was a dump. Be careful, pictures were misleading to what actual property waa. Would you pay 300 a night for the picture I just uploaded? No coffee maker, mini fridge etc., holes in the wall and stains on the carpet and the room smelled. staff puts blame on the customer for booking through third party.
Ashland
Very convenient to downtown, pool was lovely and relaxing. The grounds were peaceful and lush with their kitty and resident deer around. The main building for breakfast and lounging has lots of books to explore. Our room was very comfortable with updated bedding linens than what is photographed on the booking.com page. The breakfast was delicious and very filling. We actually didn't even have to eat lunch bc of it's size. Delicious coffee. This was a good fit for our relaxing, lazy weekend exploring Ashland.
Ashland
Ashland is a special town. We loved it! Timbers Motel is comfy, clean, and in great location. You can walk to several restaurants and we got pizza next door. Room is a great value. We had a table for two and that was perfect for eating pizza. We walked the downtown shops and Lithia Park. Great stop and we'll return to Timbers and Ashland.
The property inside and out exceeded my expectations. After staying at Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites, I won’t stay anywhere else. The staff was nice and made me feel very welcoming. Our room was right next to the pool and was very relaxing. I can’t wait to stay here again in the near future.
Ashland
The design and hominess was so well done, down to the seasonal candies, apple decor and animals to see in the yard (horses and an adorable cat!) It is so peaceful, clean, safe and quiet and so close to Ashland downtown and nearby hiking. Owner is a sweet, chatty, nice woman too!
Close to downtown. They had a nice safe breakfast. Ordered off a set menu and had to pick up in the morning from the breakfast room. The staff was professional and friendly. There were nice places to sit outside the hotel and the landscaping was very nice.
Perfect location, just a minute away from downtown Ashland. I brought my daughter for a short getaway -- during these COVID days that can be scary. But it's a perfect place in general and felt safe and precautions taking for COVID.
Hotel was very clean and well kept up. Staff friendly and did their best to make our stay comfortable. Location great- walking distance to downtown Ashland.
Convenient location to downtown, restaurants and an easy walk to the theaters. Below hotel parking was available for avoiding hot sun (101 degrees).
Remote and beautiful location, but still close to highway and easily accessible to downtown Ashland.
Beautiful accommodation close to the centre of Ashland. Breakfast was amazing.
The hotel is dog-friendly; The king-size bed is very comfortable.
