Featuring free Wi-Fi, this hotel is a 40-minute drive from Monument Valley. Each room features a flat-screen TV with cable channels. This is an unexpected oasis in such a small town. Highly recommended. Rooms are large and comfortable. Great views of the surroundings. The pool and hot tub are excellent.
Located within 45 miles of Monument Valley, the Natural Bridges National Park and Four Corners, this inn has a continental breakfast. Free Wi-Fi and a private patio are included in each guest room. I loved to stay in this beautiful place. Hotel have this rarefied look and Mexican esthetic. Very tasty breakfast and nice hosts. Near to the hotel you can go to good Indian restaurant. I hope I will have a possibility to visit there someday again.
Featuring free WiFi, Mokee Motel is located in Bluff. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV. Monument Valley is 47 mi from the motel. This is a very small motel that offers only some rooms. The facilities are very comfortable, the room's decoration demonstrates the owner's commitment to the local culture. The check-in and -out were very smooth, the location is excellent, very close to the steackhouse and the attractions.
Located in Bluff, Updated Bluff Bungalow with Patio, Pets Welcome has self-catering accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. everything was available that you could possibly need. kitchen well stocked, comfortable bedding and bed, many local guide books. Beautiful view out the front windows, great fenced in yard for our pup.
Bluff is a small community with an elementary school, convenience store/gas station, one restaurant, and several places to stay. The Twin Rocks restaurant and Trading Post were well worth the stop. The food was excellent, a bit pricey, but the portions were large and could easily be shared. The Trading Post had a fantastic selection of Native American art and jewelry, well worth just visiting, even if you don't buy. Last but not least, the Desert Rose Resort and Cabins is a genuine diamond in the ruff. Reasonably priced, it is a hard resort to leave.
This is an amazing property. We stayed in cottage "B", it had the washer and dryer. Large, beautifully decorated, comfy bed, shame it wasn't a king. Still, that's of very small importance. Air con worked very efficiently and very quiet. Close to several National Parks and the Four Corners (fantastic for First Nations arts and crafts, bought a few beautiful things). Could not recommend more.
Love the quiet and the solitude. It is a great jumping off point for Bears Ears National Monument and Monument Valley! The only negative I can say about Bluff is it is vey small town so it has very limited dining choices. I would recommend the Twin Rocks Cafe as the best in town!
We picked a spot on the map to stop for the night. Couldn't have been happier. Dukes restaurant was fantastic. Friendly staff. Food was excellent. A little bit of a drive to the natuinal parks, but away from the hustle and bustle of Moab. Still good hiking and rock formations in the area and close to Sand Island petroglyphs.
Bluff is the gateway to Bears Ears and to the San Juan River. Lots of river people doing float trips and fishing. Bears Ears is just wonderful. Go to the Natural Bridges, and spend some time hiking around in the pristine land. View the ruins. Spend time just being there. This area is a last hold out of what has been. Get there before fire does. It is amazing.
An incredible place—incredible access to the outdoors, fantastic food, and the kind of peace you didn't know you needed until you get there. I almost hope it stays small and sleepy. Not even almost :)
Very nice little hotel in a beautiful setting between large cliffs. The hotel has a very distinctive style and several unique features (burning outside fireplaces at night, private BBQs for the suites, there was a Native American giving a lecture and playing the flute in the evening at the pool, …). The hotel is newly built so everything is neat and perfect. There is an extension still in construction at one side of the property but we haven’t noticed any disturbance from it.
I'd had a rough day of driving when I finally arrived here, so Canyon Wren felt like an oasis. I'd also come from Torrey, so Bluff was a big improvement on that. Susan is a wonderful host, and I was lucky to spend a long time at breakfast learning more about the area from her. Great breakfast = late start to Cortez. I was happy for the delay.
Amazing view, room and staff. Huge room, shower was phenomenal, breakfast was homemade and the best I've had so far on this trip or at most hotels I've stayed at and i rravel for work frequently. Highly recommend staying here.
Really surprised how nice this was for the price. Room was really comfortable and nicely decorated. You could park your car right outside your door. Also Bluff is a really cool, beautiful town.
Very spacious, very clean. Lovely to have a whole cabin and loved all the additional touches by the hosts. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Bluff.
a comfortable, spacious, clean, well equipped holiday base. The host was very friendly and informative with all information required. would highly recommend
