United StatesWe have stayed at the Surrey many times. The rooms are always nice and fresh and clean. A/C blows nice and cold. Microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. Friendly staff. Conveniently located to downtown Caldwell.

Came to Caldwell for my 60th high school reunion.
Came to Caldwell for my 60th high school reunion. Had a great time in Caldwell. Good eats at several types of restaurants. Close to College Station home to Texas A&M University but with better prices for lodging in Caldwell. It was a good stay all in all just a few minor things.
It was a good stay all in all just a few minor things. There was no toilet paper and there was no shower curtain. There breakfast was not the best could have been better with hot food. They have great beds and a great indoor pool. there day staff is wonderful and all in all it was a great stay. Believe this is a former nursing home from the 1980s converted to an Inn / Hotel. The room was clean. Wi-Fi for laptop, cable TV in room. Before leaving on person business the next day, I hung the Privacy Tag on the door so cleaning crew would not come in. Upon my return looked like everything was how I left it. The bathroom in Room #209 left a bad impression—the door would not close properly, could not be fully secured, and kept trying to stay partly open. On top of that, the wood in the bathroom was rotten, which made the condition look worse.
