The location is perfect for us. The hotel doesn't smell like other hotels. The toilet seat was in place. We have had some that were actually falling apart.

We were traveling stay at the hotel to attend a funeral when we had car trouble. The hotel staff went above and beyond to assist us and were so accommodating. It was truly appreciated.

We were there to register and score for the boat races (...

We were there to register and score for the boat races (Watermania). The site is wonderful and the Chamber of Commerce is enthusiastic and good to work with. We visited some of the shops in town and enjoyed eats at a few restaurants. Love the water ski show and hope to return to enjoy another one. Great small town vibes!

Local restaurants do not offer food delivery, so make sure you plan ahead to order take-out or dine in somewhere. 2 places currently closed: Caddyshack (while owners on vacation) & Brass Rail, while under remodeling/construction. Local grocery store, KJ's, is open while under remodeling/ construction. Best place to get souvenir shirts & sweatshirts is the downtown Antiques Store. Fostops has an excellent variety of craft beers, make sure to check them out while in town.
