Hotels near Dawson

Got to Dawson late so not many places open to eat so we stopped to McDonald's and went to the drive thru. The person that was at the drive thru lack customer service skills... no proper greeting.....got to the window to pay for our food no smile and pretty much no interaction, gave us the total barely open the window to get the money, the person I was with to her, "you can open the window, I don't bite." She mumbled something and closed the window back, we gave her the exact amount and she never said thank you. Got to our room and the burgers were not what we ordered. I couldn't eat it only ate my fries and drunk my drank. Went back there the next morning and same attitude at the drive thru so went left and went somewhere else. Didn't get a chance to drive around and site see much, but I will be going back just to look around I was told it's a nice area but didn't get to go around as I like when I go different places. I just want be going back to the McDonalds.

It's a small but great little town. With all the comforts of home. Everything you need in one place with a great farmer market down the road called Mark's and Albany, GA not that far down the road also with even more comforts like home.
