Very nice place. Not a lot of restaurants but close to Clayton, GA and Franklin, TN. We enjoyed visiting both Clayton (enjoyed breakfast at The Mountain Grill. Amy and Emma were great; had very good Italian food at Mama G's!!). Great lunch at LA Cubana and dinner at Fat Buddies BBQ in North Carolina on the way to Smokies and on to Gatlinburg! Beware of heavy traffic there! Sat for quite awhile in very slow moving traffic!⁸
We stayed at the Serenity cabin which was serviceable but not the most comfortable. The bathroom shower curtain was disgusting - mildewy at the bottom, and the shower was way too small even for a 5'4", 122 lb person. I don't recommend it for anything romantic, which I was hoping for. The instruction sheet in the cabin says to text a phone number if we needed anything. So I texted and asked if we could request the fire pit on the patio to get going so we may sit and enjoy the view that evening with a glass of wine. The response I got was to go to the restaurant and ask one of the servers to do it. If I were them, I would have delegated the task myself as opposed to asking a paying customer to chase after another staff person. Also, none of the two wifi networks worked at the cabin.
Being in the in-between of summer and fall, there were only a couple of shops open and no places to eat any meal. We had to drive north of the town or south of the town to eat. There were no favorite spots because everything was closed. We will visit there again, but not stay there in this motel. There are much nicer places the the towns north and south of here.
Love this area. I make several trips a year. We had dinner at Julep Farm and it was great, a beautiful and relaxed dinner! The Highlands and Clayton are short drives with beautiful views. My favorite spots in this area are Osage market for the wonderful Frits and veggies, Foxfire Museum, and Blackrock State park.
Dillard is a nice scenic little town in North, GA. a few miles from North Carolina. It has the area famous " Dillard House " Restaurant. which has been around since the early 1900's. Southern style cooking at it's best, a place where you will never leave hungry. You can also stay there in either the Inn or their Cabins. Dillard also has " Rabun Manor Bed & Breakfast ", a charming place built in the mid 1800's and decorated with furniture, mirrors, and tapestries from then through the early 1900's . . for the most-part. They are also a great place to eat. Besides that, Dillard is within about 30 miles of at least 5 Waterfalls I know of, Rivers, creeks and streams to fish in, hiking trails, wildlife viewing areas, Sky Valley Resort, a Distillery, a Vineyard, a Trout farm, and several other cafe's and restaurants.
Beautiful city in the Smoky mountains. Great views of the mountains and nature in genera. Many trails some leading to waterfalls. Excellent restaurants. Many antique stores. It is a great place to relax and enjoy nature.
Loved being able to check in at the house with electronic tonic door key. Note to Evolve and owners - batteries died during this service and and it took quite a while for us to troubleshoot and replace them. Setting was beautiful. Loved having the separate downstairs unit for our adult son and girlfriend. Kitchen was well appointed
Andrea was great. We had a problem with the room. She changed room for us quickly. She was extremely polite and happy to help. The other staff there were wonderful also. Nice hotel. Peaceful.

Location is great. I liked the rooms being a good distance from the highway. Did not eat breakfast at the hotel.

We liked the location of this hotel, huge room, lots of locks and bolts on the door. :/
