We’ve been coming to Duluth for 50 years and discover something new each time. This time it was Hungry Hippie Tacos, an amazing restaurant with incredibly delicious food.
The other restaurant right down the street is OMC with by far the best barbecue food ever anywhere!

Duluth is one of my favorite cities to visit!
Duluth is one of my favorite cities to visit! The coast of Lake Superior gives the city a feeling of mystique and romance. The rocky shoreline also makes it fun for children who love climbing. The shops down at Canal Park are fun and charming. Restaurants are endless in this city. The people of Duluth never fail to impress with their friendliness and sharing that Spirit of the North, Minnesota tends to be famous for. Take an excursion with Vista Fleet to get an incomparable and stunning view of the city and enjoy being out on THE LAKE! The ship's crew is fun, entertaining and friendly. If you are staying overnight, I strongly urge you to stay at any of the lodging in Canal Park. WE LOVE ❤️ DULUTH!

The price was right within walking distances to restaurants staff was very nice only bad thing bed was higher up off the floor hard for a person with a disability to get into. Room was very clean and nice

I live in the Twin Cities and love visiting Duluth!
I live in the Twin Cities and love visiting Duluth! I attended school at UMD back in 1974, and my college roommate and I have gone back to Duluth annually for a girl's weekend. In addition to that, I spend time in Duluth randomly during the year. It is such a unique city, especially Canal Park and Park Point. In Canal Park you can watch huge ships from around the country and the world navigate underneath the famous lift bridge to enter the harbor where they unload and load cargo. It offers shops and restaurants and the beautiful lakewalk. One of my favorite past times is enjoying the 7 mile beach out onPark Point, with its beautiful sand and great swimming. But of course the best part is being on the lake itself, such an amazing experience. Duluth is also the gateway to the north shore, with the scenic drive hugging the lake and offering endless things to see and do. Whether you enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, being in the woods or being by the lake--whatever you like to do is better on the north shore!

We visited on Grandmas Marathon weekend, which means crowds and exorbitant prices! Summer prices are high in general, but with a sold-out city, they are nuts. My wife is a UMD alum, so we go almost yearly to visit - easy trip up from teh Twin Cities. The Canal Park area has had nice investment and development over the past few years and is a nice area, and West Duluth has been getting better, but most of the rest of the city including downtown has lost its luster. Its a beautiful area and a nice gateway to north shore, and if you like mountain biking, its an amazing area. Spirit Mountain has become an awesome downhill location, and much of the rest of the trail system around town is really fun and challenging. Great city with amazing activtities and views, as long as you don't look too close!

We did the 2 hour boat tour, we do it every year and enjoy it every time . This year we took the North Shore Scenic Railroad tour and highly recommend it. We drove up to Two Harbors and Gooseberry Falls, it’s a beautiful drive. Of course we had to stop at Betty’s Pies and Grandmas and Blackstone Grill on the lake was awesome.

Breakfast at the hotel saves a lot of time and gets you onto your tasks quickly without having to go to a restaurant. I'm usually not a big breakfast person, but the breakfast exceeded my expectations. I was expecting boiled eggs and a packet of instant oatmeal. They had more then enough - scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits/gravy, juice, cereal/milk, pancakes, ...... and more. If you are in a real hurry you can just grab and apple and/or a yogurt. Wonderful way to start the morning someone cooking for you!!

It was very easy to access! The room was nice, spacious, the beds were comfortable and you have everything you need. The service with all the necessary information was good! We would definitely recommend staying there during your stay in Duluth!

Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and helpful owner. Nice kitchen area, good to meet other travellers. I loved the bunk beds, equipped with reading lights and plugs for electronics, and the curtain gives a little privacy. I would stay there again.
