Beautiful city, problem with parking unless you stay at downtown hotels with parking facilities. High rates at the Canal Street and the ones close to the area.
Lake Superior is beautiful and relaxing. Overall it is worth to visit.

There is a lot to see iand do in and around Duluth for all ages. Several of our favorites are Canal Park and spending time watching the boats come and go under the lift bridge, going through the William Irvin, Congdon mansion, riding the Duluth Zephyr and visiting the railroad museum, and going up to Enger Tower. There are also opportunities to bike, walk or jog, and swim in Lake Superior if you are so inclined. You might even want to run in Grandma’s Marathon. There are lots of food options. We prefer The Pickwick on Superior Street and Sammie’s Pizza on First Street.

Lots of options clustered in canal park so it's walkable, rich history and Baytown culture. Sun worshipers and leafers beware, the low elevation and Lakeshore means more overcast days and later peak colors than the surrounding areas. Plan accordingly.

I would not visit Duluth again.
I would not visit Duluth again. Although interesting sites available to see. I found Duluth to be congested with traffic. The streets dont make sense. Hard to get to the tourist stops. The city just didn't make any sense how u get into Duluth at the start.
I was a little "taken aback" by the room. It was clean however; the room is very dated. The bed was like an Army Cot. The Staff are Amazing - Super Friendly and Very Informative (especially on directions". I liked the second room much better, which was located right on the main floor in a secure area. The next time we stay there, we would definitely request to stay inside the Motel, rather than on the outside.
The Inn is great for a short stay when travelling in the area. It is near Duluth and the highway, so it is very easily accessible. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is good. No major complaints.
