Hotel in Whitewater
Fairfield Inn & Suites Whitewater provides air-conditioned accommodations in Whitewater. The property features free private parking and free WiFi. As a retired couple, we’ve started doing some traveling and this was by far the best stay we’ve had anywhere. My husband loved that when we came into the room there was a warm welcome already on the tv for him. The big walk in shower is always a plus for us that love the luxury instead of a tub. If we see more Fairfield Inns in our travels we will be staying again.

We came for the fishing. We did not venture to far off the resort only to purchase bait. The Rock River baitbox was a wonderful shop that filled all of our needs with reasonable prices. N2290 Rock River rd, Fort Atkinson, WI.
Not applicable. We were only there to avoid driving after seeing the Rock and Roll band concert at the Fireside Theater. Attending an event at the Fireside is a good reason to visit Fort Atkinson. The entertainment is always excellent quality and the food excellent.
When visiting Fort Atkinson, I like to attend school events - a lot of great activities - sports, music, and theater in the schools. Also the Fireside Theater, nearby park events and summer baseball throughout the community. The Municipal Building hosts many great activities and classes. We love to eat at the Fort Family Restaurant, the Fireside, Culver's, and don't forget FROSTY FREEZE! There are two or three ways to get most places around town using 3 bridges over the Rock Riverand a highway that wraps around 2 sides of it and 4 easy access exits/entrances..
The time I have to spend in town is always too short to include all I'd like to do. I always enjoy whatever time I am able to spend in town. There are so many great things to see and do, add to that family in town and it's always the perfect weekend getaway for me.
We visited the National Dairy Shrine and Hoard's Dairymen Farm, which was the reason we stayed in Fort Atkinson instead of Madison. It was a lovely town with lots of cute restaurants and a nice little town area with shops. I wish we had more time to walk around in it. Ate at a nice Mexican restaurant in town, El Patrone, and it was delightful. Stayed at the Villa Inn Motel which was a nice alternative to the typical chain hotel.
It is a small town in Cheeseland. We went for a weekend concert at Alpine Valley. The hotel has potential. Fort Ackinson seems to be trying: riverfront a work in progress, etc. But it is still a small town in "rustbelt America". The poeple seem to be trying to improve the situation. The "family restaurant" on Janesville avenue was a pretty solid diner. Nothing great, but good solid food at fair prices.
