Honestly it's a great place but to costly the prices on hotel change from $69 to $150-$200 Fridays and Saturdays price don't change or discount for long stay its nice if you like to travel and eat sea food it's a great place
I love Ft Bragg but will not be staying at you hotel again because there is no access to a microwave when I need it. My disability has me needing to eat frequently and I could not warm up my prepared food at you hotel.
The Hostel was a very nice place to be for a 4 day visit. Becky, the house manager was so kind and friendly! She gave us some great tips about area things to see. The guests mostly gathered at the kitchen table for Becky's breakfast and it was enjoyable, funny, and often informative to chat with the group who were strangers to each other at first but not for long. We could come and go as we pleased with our room/house key and interact with others however much we wanted to. I learned some interesting things about the history of the cannabis industry in the area and how helpful it can be for veterans suffering from PTSD. The beautiful old house has been nicely restored and is in a quiet location yet accessible to town amenities. We had a delightful stay! Check out Mayan Fusion for a great meal!
I went to Fort Bragg because I wanted to see sea glass beach. In looking at several photos from the Internet, I was expecting to see a lot of sea glass on the beach. Unfortunately, that is not the case. There is definitely some small pieces left that you will find but apparently over the last 10 people have been taking the glass so it’s not what it used to be. That being said, the beach and the views are absolutely gorgeous. The water is so blue and clear. Stunning!
Fort Bragg is a look forward to on our trip. We have stayed here many times. The whole town is welcoming and friendly. Thank you to the community for welcoming a couple from Canada every time we've come.
MacLerricher State Park, and Laguna point beach we’re not to be missed. Lovely boardwalk. Saw whales. Great seafood meals at KW salt, water, kitchen, and at the Wharf restaurant at the harbor although the service was not great. Also, we enjoyed watching the seals at the harbor.
