I went mainly to explore Makoshika State Park and its...
I went mainly to explore Makoshika State Park and its badlands were amazing. The people I met were mostly Glendive residents. They were all very welcoming and fun folks. I plan to return to explore the community more. Don’t miss the State Park!

The Spark hotel was the best esp to get a good nights sleep...
The Spark hotel was the best esp to get a good nights sleep and feel rested. Second would have to be Penny’s Diner the food! It was delicious and very filling. And you know it was good because there was constantly a full crowd. People would leave and the chairs would fill back in with new customer’s. Also, the dinosaur museum was wonderful and engaging especially for children. We spent 2 1/2 hrs going over the displays. It was very interesting, informative, and reasonably priced for admission. The staff was friendly and engaging.

Our family had a good stay overall.
Our family had a good stay overall. The room was spacious enough for my manual wheelchair, my husband, and our two kids, and the roll-under sink was fantastic. The accessible pool lift was a nice feature, even though we didn’t get to use the pool. Breakfast was delicious, and the woman stocking items Monday morning was so kind and helpful. Housekeeping kept the room clean during our stay.
However, the beds were very high off the ground for an accessible room, which made it hard for me to get in without help. The toilet was also too high, and despite being told we’d have a roll-in shower and bathtub, there was only a bathtub with no accessible bench, so I wasn’t able to bathe.
We didn’t get to see much of Glendive since we were there to visit family living outside of Wibaux, and we had the hotel booked just for our two-night stay. Overall, we enjoyed our time but feel improvements are needed for true accessibility.

The Dinosaur and Fossil Museum is well done and worth seeing. We enjoyed eating Dinner at the Yellowstone River Inn. The food was very good. We also had lunch at Subway and enjoyed it. Glendive is only about an hour drive west of Medora, ND and we enjoyed our time there as well.

The location is convenient, the staff is very nice.
The location is convenient, the staff is very nice. Pool is great and the breakfast is exceptional. We have stayed there every time when in Glendive. Front desk gave us suggestions on where to eat and had a great experience at the Pizza Place, easy to find and great pizza.

We were driving 2100 miles in three days and this was in the middle of it. All we wanted was a comfortable place to sleep. No time for sightseeing or even walking around. Good value for what we wanted; nothing fancy.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was huge and the bed very comfortable. We had a fridge and coffee maker and there was a laundry for guests to use which was excellent. The lane past the hotel is a cul de sac and great for our evening walk, listening to the many birds. You can walk to two diners which were good value. We didn’t use the pool but it looked inviting. The breakfast was perfectly fine, not high quality but plenty of it.

We stayed at this hotel for just one night. The staff was warm and welcoming. The room was good too, the beds were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast had a variety of options, and the best thing was the hostess at breakfast was great, she chatted with everyone and made everyone comfortable.

Breakfast was good with sausage patties and scrambled eggs, waffles and bagels, as well as cold cereal, yogurt, and country potatoes. The hotel was rated lower than some but we were pleased by our experience and price of the king room. Would definitely stay here again.
