Featuring an indoor pool and hot tub, the Ramada Grayling is located off Interstate 75 and is adjacent to the Grayling Golf Club. This hotel offers a daily continental breakfast. This is a must stay and return again experience!!! The room was nicely designed with comfortable queen beds, refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, surge protector electric power station on night stand to charge all of our devices. The indoor pool was amazing, and the hot tub very nice AND there's an indoor play area with jungle gym for the kids, as well as a kiddy pool!!! The hot breakfast included sausage, eggs and pancakes with cereal, toast, juice, and milk. I WILL be back next summer!
Located off Interstate 75 and 13 mi from scenic Higgins Lake, a daily continental breakfast with fruit, pastries, and more is served at this Grayling hotel. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Nice, easy and comfortable. Will enjoy staying here again in the future, when we’re on our way up north.
Located in Grayling, 17 mi from Garland Resort, Riverview Inn features accommodations with a garden, free private parking and barbecue facilities. My husband and I booked this motel on a whim due to a death in the family. Our room was spotless and quaint. The owner was a very polite and helpful. We enjoyed being off the beaten path away from the city. I see a lot of reviews on here saying there isn’t AC, but our rooms have been cold and comfortable throughout our entire stay. 10/10 would come back again, hopefully under other circumstances.
We came up to Grayling for the full moon snowshoe hike at Hartwick Pines. That was very nice even though it was cloudy and the moon only peeked out now and then. Grayling is a nice town. There's a lot to do, you just need to know where to go.
We were only there overnight. Not much to do in the part of the city we were in. Difficulty in finding a restaurant there. We were there Wed. evening. Ate at a Chinese-Thai place . Had great food and great jasmine tea. Then went back to motel.
The staff did not know about the area to help out with how late any restaurants were open. When I got there the staff took 2 people to check us in and were rude about where I came from. They acted the whole time like they didn't like their jobs and didn't want to be in their jobs.
Nice little town with a first rate art gallery, nice places to eat, and some local breweries. Loved the AuSable and Manistee Rivers to kayak on! Crystal clear waters and a nice even flow without whitewater. Nice state parks too and paved bike trails. Centrally located to many other nice places too like Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, Charlevoix, Mackinaw.....all within a reasonable driving distance.
Too much traffic (Memorial Day weekend) for us. Pizza from the Bear's Den was excellent and reasonably priced. The corned beef sandwich at Spike's Keg O Nails was terrible, but the fried green beans were good. Grayling is a nice place to visit overall. Plenty to do and see year 'round.
The hotel is nice good price and the kids had a lot of fun. It's older so they're are things that need fixing cracks in the walls and ceilings etc. Our room smelt moist but it's probably because the pool was on the other side of our wall.
Everyone is so welcoming and sweet. The room was clean and comfortable! Will definitely come back!
