The location of course is absolutely stunning with an ocean view, our room was also stunning a great size with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We dined at the restaurant and we could not find anything to complain about, we had fish and chips which was scrumptious. All the staff were friendly and obliging. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, if you are in the area you must stay here.

The home was spacious, clean, and well appointed. We were in town for my daughter’s wedding and had lots of room for floral arrangements, hair and make up, and the photographer. We would love to come again!

Nice safe friendly small town to explore alone or with friends. Many artists and galleries in area. The North Coast Artist Guild Studio Discovery Tour around Labor Day Weekend is great. Beautiful walking trails along the coast at Sea Ranch. Lots of wildlife including pelicans and other sea birds, seals, and deer. Easy access to other areas along the Sonoma and Mendocino coast.

The room was cute and clean.

The room was cute and clean. It was a little rustic, but Mendocino coast stylish. I would definitely stay there again. We stayed in the Horizon room and we both enjoyed the stay. The room was also pleasantly warm and the bed was comfortable.

Gualala is a lovely, beautiful place to enjoy a week long vacation. We love the ocean, redwoods and gorgeous beaches and coastline. Our family especially enjoys visiting the Gualala Point Regional Park with our grandchildren, age 7 and nearly 3. Among best places to eat: Upper Crust Pizzeris. Gualala Seafood Shack, Anchor Bay Thai Kitchen, and Trinks Cafe,

This was a beautiful, small coastal town.

This was a beautiful, small coastal town. We enjoyed lunch at the Crab Shack and shopped at the excellent grocery store for a nibble dinner on the deck. I wish we had a second day there to enjoy hikes and more restaurants.

Love the ocean view, love the scenery of the area.

Love the ocean view, love the scenery of the area. It's not too far for us but enough to feel like a getaway. The bakery and pizza next to the grocery store was great. I would have liked to try more places but we liked staying at our place and saved some $. We did dine at Cove Azul which was nice and Mother's Day brunch at Sea Ranch Lodge was excellent!

Gualala is a beautiful small town on the northern California...

Gualala is a beautiful small town on the northern California coast with great fine dining and comfortable lodging. The the is part of what locals have nicknamed the coast's "banana belt" because of its uniquely mild micro-climate. Ocean winds tend to keep the fog offshore, so on days when other coastal areas might be foggy, Gualala often offers sunny skies.

We arrived late after a long drive on the West Pacific Coast and it felt to soothing to arrive in this warm and comfy place. Everything was made easy for us to check-in on our own, the owner had the kindness to put us in an ocean view room. The motel area is very peaceful and beautiful and Gualala in itself is a wonderful little place. The owner was absolutely kind and friendly, she recommended us a wonderful coffee place. We would come back for sure, our stay was short but this motel was such a happy relief to arrive in!😊🌺
