I am writing to formally document the appalling conditions experienced during my recent stay at the Quality Inn in Hayti, Missouri, and to demand the immediate processing of the full refund that was promised during my customer service call yesterday. The room provided was entirely unsafe, unsanitary, and unfit for human occupancy. Specifically, the room suffered from the following critical issues: Severe Sanitation & Health Hazards: Visible mold was present in the room, and the bed sheets provided were unclean and unacceptable for use. Critical Maintenance Failures: The air conditioning unit was completely non-functional, leaving the room without proper ventilation or climate control. Plumbing Deficiencies: The toilet repeatedly clogged, and the shower water facilities were dysfunctional and inadequate. When I brought these unacceptable conditions to the attention of the on-site staff, Kathy stated that the refund would need to be reimbursed through customer service. I subsequently contacted customer service yesterday, and the representative assured me the matter would be handled. However, I have checked my card on file and the reimbursement has not yet posted. Given the hazardous and unsanitary conditions of the property, this stay failed to meet even the most basic legal and industry standards for hospitality. I request that management expedite this refund immediately and provide a formal confirmation number. If the funds do not reflect on my account promptly, I will escalate this matter through my financial institution via a formal charge dispute, as well as file safety and sanitation complaints with local health authorities and Choice Hotels corporate relations. Please confirm receipt of this message and the processing of my refund by the end of the business day.

Honestly, I am originally from the area, but moved away a long time ago. We were there for a funeral and the staff made us feel very welcomed. The property is right off the interstate, which made it very convenient for us.
