The property is amazing. The room was immaculate and nicely furnished. The common areas, sitting room with fireplace television and games overlooking a huge porch and the lake was amazing. There are also about 50 miles of hiking trails that are well maintained. There are also cabins, a beautiful chapel, and even an outdoor labyrinth. The entire property is amazingly beautiful. I was not aware when I booked it but this property is owned and managed by the Episcopal Church. They have a full gymnasium, a great workout gym and many facilities for the camps they operate there.

Beautiful place to stay!We mostly like to hike and be out in nature so this was the perfect location. Hendersonville is a short drive away for restaurants and groceries which was great. I had to change my dates due to illness and Karen (the host) was very kind and accommodating. We were greeted on arrival very warmly and there was a nice bowl of items waiting for our use (oatmeal, breakfast bars, apples, oranges, coffee, tea). Also many places in the area to buy fresh produce - apples are big here. Tons of orchards. We would definitely stay again!
Was pleasantly surprised by Hendersonville. Small town nestled in the lush hills. However, I only got to visit the downtown which I really enjoyed. Interesting variety of shops and restaurants, a children's museum. Loved the painted bears by local artists. Just missed the apple festival a few days earlier which I hear was very nice. Lost a day to rain & didn't get to enjoy other outdoor activities - hiking trails, waterfalls, etc. Asheville is 45-minute drive away for a day trip.
We enjoyed walking around downtown....and visiting the MAST store (always a good thing when it rains all day). It was pretty easy getting around town. We only had 2 days there. We went to a gemming place (okay, they ship in "gems" and stud buckets of sand with them--the good news is that you find things, the bad things is that it really doesn't compare with places that dig the dirt right there). We went apple picking at Stepps--in the rain. But, we picked lots of apples and shot the "apple cannons." What a hoot!
The hotel was quiet, clean, comfortable, and all employees were friendly! Hendersonville is my favorite NC city-always interesting. There are many great sights as Jump Off Rock. It is an easy city to navigate with restaurants galore! They offer easy shopping access and plenty of fine arts: including live theater, street dances and music, and the fun and famous Apple Festival on Labor Day Weekend! There are winery and breweries to enjoy and something to do for all ages!
Love the mountains and that resort never a bad experience. Down town Hendersonville Nc very nice and lots to do wine Gartens around to tast wine and many more things to do . The restaurant has the best food. Chicken wings salads all perfect . Hot tubs and swimming pool
Very quaint town with very good shopping and restaurants. Close to Flat Rock Playhouse which we love. Carl Sandburg House also very interesting. Very close to Asheville if want to visit there as well.
Hendersonville
We wanted to visit downtown Hendersonville and the Waverly Inn was within walking distance. The Waverly is a nice bed and breakfast inn. The staff was very friendly. We especially enjoyed the social in the late afternoon from 5-6 and the breakfast was wonderful! Thank you for offering turkey bacon! Most places only serve pork products. Hope to see you next year.
Helpful and friendly staff, the room appeared to have been remodeled semi recently, not a terrible value for the stay compared to some of the other hotels in the area (which I had friends at and they said surrounding hotels were also rundown and not great), my room was as far back as you could be so it was pretty quiet aside from noise from neighboring rooms
The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. The hotel was busy but food was constantly being restocked. Also, the serving area was very clean. The room was extremely comfortable and the air conditioning unit wasn’t too noisy, unlike other hotels we’ve stayed in. We had a great night’s sleep.
Hendersonville
what a setting! Absolutely love this charming lodge near the top of the mountain yet close to downtown Hendersonville and so many other great places to explore! Restaurant is great for dinner but unfortunately they are relocating 😞.

It was convenient for working in Hendersonville. It was close to everything I needed especially close to a indoor area so I could walk. Quite and comfortable.
The hotel clerk was very pleasant and friendly. We really appreciated how clean the room was and bathroom. For the price it really was a good hotel to visit.
The morning hostess was great! She even came around and offered coffee to those sitting in the breakfast area. A great ambassador for that hotel.
