Featuring free WiFi, Super 8 Howe offers pet-friendly accommodations in Howe, 29 mi from Elkhart. Certain units feature a seating area where you can relax. Each room has a private bathroom. Location, property, room, and staff were all great. Only downfall was there was no breakfast BUT that was not their fault. Covid has made certain things more of a risk/liability and food in public happens to be one of them. So that being explained....I give this place a 100% all across the board!
Located just off Interstates 80 and 90, this Howe hotel is a 2-minute walk from the Indiana/Michigan border. Clean, comfy beds, nice decor, they provide clean tv remotes in a bag, tasty Keurig coffee and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. And they have a nice indoor pool.
Located off Highway 66 and 5 minutes’ walk from Sturgis town center, the hotel offers rooms with microwaves and refrigerators. Rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi and cable TV at the Travelodge... Breakfast was great and so was location--beds were very comfortable.
Located in Sturgis, Michigan, this hotel offers a hot breakfast buffet daily, an indoor pool and a gym. Each room has free Wi-Fi and the property is a 20-minute drive from the Shipshewana Flea Market.... The entire staff was far superior to most hotels. They all went out of their way to take care of any needs before we even ask. The cleaning staff was great and added nice little personal touches. Bed were comfortable, the room was spacious, and the hotel was very convenient. We truly enjoyed our stay at this property.
Featuring free Wi-Fi access, this Indiana hotel is located next door to events at the Shipshewana Town Center in the heart of Amish country. A daily continental breakfast is served to all guests. Very clean and nice staff. Location to town Beds very comfortable
We visited shipshewana. It was very conviently located to that area. We eat at rhe Howe cafe. It is very good. Do recommend it. Our location was 2 mile from sturgis mi. Gas in sturgis was a good price. Several places to eat in sturgis.
We visit every year for camping@ twin mills. Beautiful & peaceful. Love visiting the flea market & buying at Yoders in the next town. I dont like how its slowly changing with more "English" influences.
I wrote about this in great detail for the motel's site. Breakfast was the most disappointing. Only "hot" items were toast and make-your-own waffle. No: fruit (none fresh or canned), yogurt, bagels, muffins, breakfast rolls, donuts, eggs of any kind, sausage/bacon, etc. There were 2 kinds of cold cereal. There were 2 fruit juices -- the oj was a cheap bottled kind. I let the water run for 5-10 minutes and finally took a cool shower. My husband took one after me and said the water finally got hot for him. I removed the "Do Not Disturb" sign off the door knob when we left Sunday morning. When we returned later in the afternoon -- our room had not been serviced. When we first arrived, the room was clean and recently painted with recent carpet. The towels were large, clean -- very white-- fluffy.
Howe is quite small, but it's just a few miles north to Stugis, MI. There is a small mall area with a Goodwill store, grocery store, hardware store and more. I enjoy the food at the Chinese Buffet near the mall. Downtown Sturgis has interesting shops to check out.
We stayed there for a notre dame game,it was about 40 muns from campus all highway driving. right off of rt80,easy to get to, not much around in the way of restaurants.easy check in and check out. very clean and comfortable room. breakfast was good, although it closes early.
Close to Shipshewana. Great area for bike riding. I generally visit Howe each year for the annual Amishland and Lakes bike ride with the Michiana Bike Club, but did some other stuff this time. Great kayaking in Mongo and Shipshewana. Tons of fun outdoor activities in what appears to be farm land.
