The building is historic ( built in 1920s) and it is very quaint. The 2 sitting rooms are adorable and are very relaxing. My room was small (probably a former bedroom) but very clean and had a TOP NOTCH ocean view. The bed was comfy and the little fridge, oh! the adorable retro fridge with freezer! I want one even though I have no need for it.

Lovely hotel with kind staff. Loved all the details of the room. I appreciate that there is a vanity to get ready if the bathroom is occupied. The gym was a nice touch. I was visiting from Kentucky and they made me feel like I was home.

    Very clean and easy to get there. Nice whirlpool bathtub was great for my husband and me with our aches and pains. Nice fridge, complimentary coffee, bottle of water, microwave. Lots of room for clothing and personal items. Real nice restaurant/ bar right next door (the Ivy League) had good food, nice atmosphere. No pets; even though I have pets, I don't like staying at hotels that accept them. Good wifi. Nice bagel place next door.

    The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, even assisting me with my bags. The room was clean, the jacuzzi was amazing, and all of the amenities were in perfect working order. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable. This motel was an incredible value, and if in the area again, I will definitely stay here. I would also highly recommend it to others.

    We were very pleased with At 9 Motel. It was definitely clean. The bed was very comfortable, there was a box of facial tissues, and also a bottle of water. We really liked the location--we did not have to fight the heavy traffic had we stayed south of Lakewood.
