Well, although our trip was mostly to visit Zion, there isn’t much to do at night. However, if you drive to Sait George, you’ll find some restaurants and things to do. Hurricane was nice, just no night life at all. Maybe that is a good thing.. with all the hiking, we really appreciated the hotel room and took time to rest.
This town is really nice; we visited 5 years ago and we decided to come back and spend a night there this time. Overall is a great place with lots of activities; really close there is a National park called Zion, which should be really nice! We stayed here on the 24 Dec, it was a sunday. Everything shut down at 6pm, including McDonalds and Walmart; if a couple of restaurants were open, they would have made a fortune as all the hotels were packed. On the other hand, it’s a small town, and Christmas Eve is a special day, so we couldn’t complain!
Great location for where we wanted to go. Not much for dining. Things seem to close early. Most people we dealt with were very nice except the hotel front desk just didn't seem to care. The movie theater was great with the VIP theaters they have, highly recommend!
I was charged to my VISA $20 for what he says "a missing pillow". We DID NOT take a pillow. The desk clerk was not friendly at all. We didn't have enough wash clothes and hand towels for the three of us. I do not recommend the Super 8 in Hurricane as a credible Booking.com overnight accommodation.
Nice small town but appears to be growing at a very fast rate. Has most of the amenities you need or want if you are looking for a relaxing getaway, but if you are looking for alot of nightlife you won't find that here. The town and surrounding areas offers many beautiful outdoor activities to see and do especially if you have never been to Zions National Park, which is absolutely beautiful! If you enjoy camping there are several spots to camp at and if you like boating they have some very popular lakes to go boating.
ZION is amazing this time of year with some snow still around - WOW!!! But great all year anyway. We have been to Bryce Canyon previously which is spectacular and would come back here to visit again for a longer stay. We are a couple in our 70’s with limited walking capability so our touring is by car and short easy walks for which we found lots of availability. Hurricane and this area is absolutely wonderful.
We stayed 1 night at Econolodge hurricane on your visit to Zion National park. This is a great place for value of money compared to resort close to the national park which is only 30 mins away. The owner is hard working and keep the resort clean. Breakfast is also included.
The front desk staff was very accommodating. When there was a problem with the TV, he got there quick with new batteries for the remote. That didn't work, there was a cable loose that we fixed while I was on the phone with him. He was very kind and responsive.
I liked the atmosphere, and the pool was warm. You have a good view all around the hotel as well. The entry way was well kept and the whole place was home-y. Some stuff has been replaced and looks new.
BEST HOTEL EVER! The manager and staff were extremely kind. This is by far the best hotel service I have ever received. Definitely coming back here!
Everything clean. Very big room. Breakfast was super! The best we had on our 3 week road trip
Clean, quiet room. Comfy bed. Free breakfast. Good pool. Pet friendly.
