The young girl that checked me in the first night was it. I called Ramada corporate and complained and the onsite manager didn't care because I believe I should have gotten some kind of refund. Booking.com site was also misleading and should give me a free stay somewhere else.
Happened into a "rough" area of the city. Saddened me. Two gentlemen requesting a couple of dollars; breaks my heart. Downtown looked particularly promising, but spent just a bit of time there. Conditions, nationwide, are desolate and desperate, unlike ever before. Simply a sign of the times; can't rightly place blame(?!?). Wouldn't hesitate to return if the opportunity presented itself...
I came to visit family. This was my second trip to Indy. We were only there for the weekend but I enjoyed the ease of travel. Getting around is a breeze and there are penty of stores and restaurants available. We had a great meal at District Tap and stayed at a lovely guest house "Indy's Hidden Gem". I am looking forward to spending more time here.
We went to the Indianapolis zoo. It was amazing. The drive from Illinois to Indiana was smooth expect the construction but that's expected. The zoo was incredible very easy to get around will be back to explore more things around the area! We had dinner delivered by city BBQ well worth it! Very delicious and pretty good price as well and delivery only took like 10 mins!
Indianapolis is a interesting city, You can drive through a nice neighborhood and see beautiful houses and buildings and then you can cross a street and go into a poor neighborhood and wow....it's like they don't care how it looks. The government of Indianapolis can do better.
I had a few hours to spare when I got to town and had never been to Indy, so I rented one of the scooters and toured all over the main part of downtown. For as much as I loved the scooter, it was a bit of a rough ride on all of the brick sidewalks and bike lanes so I would recommend renting a bike if you don't want too much vibration and jerky movement during a city tour. I was roaming during the early evening on a Friday so there were plenty of people out and about. There were some people asking for money at some of the intersections which would have made me feel a little more uncomfortable had I been on foot. Overall, the city is kept clean. There is definitely a little bit more of a conservative feel as you pass billboards to get into the city. I was there on my own, so I am not sure how I would have felt if it were my wife and I that toured the city together.
This location was clean, updated and conveniently near the airport. we arrived much later than anticipated with only a couple of hours of sleep before leaving for our flight. By the time we arrived restaurants near us were closed. the man at the front desk was kind enough to offer us a few snacks from the breakfast area to hold us over knowing we’d also miss breakfast. Such a kind gesture that goes a long way. We will definitely book again at this location when flying out of Indianapolis.
Breakfast was okay. Manager and employee having a not-so-appropriate conversation right by the tables where my 4-year-old and I were eating. Besides that, the staff was wonderful and attentive to everything though. We received a ride to and from the airport no problem, the hotel was not overly busy. For having no idea where I was in Indianapolis, I felt safe and comfortable for the 1 evening I needed before going home.
Indianapolis
I really liked the apartment, the style of the decoration and the cleaning. It is very comfortable and the location is wonderful, near the downtown and the university of Indiana. I highly recommend it. I traveled with my son for a swimming competition and we were like in our home. The staff welcomed me and they asked me if we needed something and if we had found everything right. A very good service!
Indianapolis
Beautiful, historical, & overall, a very nice area of Indy. Close to very good restaurants, gas stations & a short distance from I-465 1-1/2 miles. A wonderful state park & a great golf course are just around the corner & the area is great to walk around (safe & pretty). The room was very clean, comfortable & stately. This will be my go to hotel when I visit Indy.
The hotel was beautiful although the carpets throughout felt dingy. There was a parking garage next door, it was $24 for the night, valet parking at the hotel was $48. Unfortunately Indianapolis although beautiful and historical was FILLED with homeless people and degenerates. I didn’t feel safe in the city at night.
The ladies at the front desk were really nice and it was very easy to check in. I got a king size room and the space was great and it was clean. The area is nice and about 20 minutes away from the mall area and 9 minutes away from downtown. If we come back to Indianapolis we are for sure going to stay here again.
Standard hotel, not bad, conveniently located, not a long drive to any Indianapolis attractions and many cheap and good places to eat around. Room was nice, clean, not run down. Good place to stay if you visit Indianapolis for weekend
The rooms were spacious, very clean and fresh. Great bedding, nice towels. Oversized fridge. Nice staff. Had to book at the last minute because another hotel cancelled our reservations, and this was a great experience.
Bed was very comfortable, interior of hotel was fabulous as far as design. The best hotel I've stayed at in Indianapolis. I loved the valet parking. So many places within walking distance of the hotel!
Price was great compared to other spots, saved nearly $400 on last minute switch of hotels Great location to downtown... anything we needed was within 10 mins walk. If going for football maybe 15 mins.
staff were really friendly hotel was really clean and quiet. Shuttle bus was on time and organised. No traffic noise or aircraft noise considering the close proximity to the airport
clean modern hotel. nice hot tub. great park and stay option with reliable transportation to airport in the wee hours of the morning. left our vehicle there for 12 days. no issues.
Indianapolis
The best location! You can walk to everything in downtown and centre Indianapolis. The apartment is so spacious fitted with everything you need!
Indianapolis
