Located in Joshua Tree, a 5-minute walk from Joshua Tree Visitor Center, Casa De Frank provides accommodations with a hot tub. The accommodations feature a hot tub. The house is terrific, but more importantly Jenny, the property manager, went out of her way to make sure my stay was excellent. She is very friendly and helpful. Jenny got the hot tub ready for me, showed where to find the Joshua National Park, and a great place to eat. Additionally, she provided me with conversation, very nice when you are traveling alone!

Located in Joshua Tree, a 6-minute walk from Joshua Tree Visitor Center and 3.8 miles from Lower Covington Flat, Center Street Villas provides accommodations with free WiFi. Frank and Kelly, the housekeeper, were very accessible. They provided a very tidy and welcoming environment for myself and my friends. They exceeded my expectations by the sundries and amenities available. I very much enjoyed the set up of the house as everything appeared to have a purpose. There was even a washer/dryer in the back which was very useful after a weekend of camping at Joshua Tree park. The streaming services and beer mugs in the freezer were a great touch. Thank you for making the end of this trip so phenomenal with your hospitality.

Nice people. We loved breakfast at Country Kitchen. The town people helped maintain the Joshua Tree National Park & it showed when we visited there. Just Beautiful!! Shops were very nice, unique & clean.
Stayed at the Safari Motor Hotel which was great value and an excellent location. Ate dinner and breakfast at Natural Sisters cafe which was wonderful (and I'm not even a vegetarian!) Drove through the National park and wondered why I had not been there before. Loved the Beauty Bubble salon and museum...probably my favorite stop. The owner Jeff was really nice and we loved his collection! We discovered the Crochet museum and the art that surrounds it. I wish we had been in town on a weekend as a lot of places were closed on a Wednesday. All together a wonderful quirky town and I'll be back!
JTNP will touch your soul. I visited JTNP for the first time in July 2010 and I felt as if I finally came Home. I again felt that I returned home this visit. I laid my body down, and connected with the earth the moment I arrived at my camp site. My heart was immediately filled with warmth and overwhelming Joy. There was a steady stream of tears involuntarily running down my face. :) When you visit JTNP, try not to fear being open to listening to the Wisdom of Mother Nature. You are in JTNP for a reason. The answers to your Authentic Purpose and Direction await you. :)
Joshua Tree is an interesting place, popular with campers and hikers. The town doesn't have a lot going on, but it does have a great vegan cafe which is extremely popular, and we had a great meal at the saloon/ bar. This was the beginning of our road trip from L.A . so was a starting point, and introduction to the road, after the hectic pace of L.A. The desert is very beautiful and peaceful, there is a history of musicians staying in this town for inspiration and peace. Joshua Tree motel is where Gram Parsons died, and there is a home made memorial to him at Cap Rock.( If you're into Gram Parsons ) U2 also stayed here. We were also easily able to head off from here to access the old Route 66. There is a gas station here which has absolutely everything you need to stock up for a road trip. Avoid the town of Yukka by the way, adjoining Joshua Tree. Unless you like that Walmart in the outback vibe.
This is one of the most beautiful National Parks I've been to. It was amazingly peaceful to wander through, lots of picturesque locations to see and photograph. Only had one day, and would very much like to have had more time to hike some of the longer trails. Will definitely be back!
Great little town . Went to the Joshua tree saloon to listen to live Music . Band was really good . Tried the Indian Restaurant for the first time and the food was excellent . Will be back again .
