I've been at the rhumb resort Alot in the warm,hot weather. But we try feb.14 romantic time and it was great. We were so lucky it snow the scenery was (is) so beautiful new England sea coast you can't go wrong.but rhumb resort is nice from the price , Hospitality And accommopatience and the Indoor heated & Jacuzzi and also First time trying a outdoor heated jacuzzi just so cool and better than I ever thought. Over all one of the best we had all season.

Our room was very large and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Having an extra blanket was great because the weather was chilly. The location right on the beach was beautiful, great for a morning and/or late afternoon walk. Very safe and friendly establishment. Breakfast was delicious and a different take on continental with hard boiled eggs, fresh orange chunks, English muffins, bagels and of course the freshly made (just from the oven) muffins all reviewers have raved about. Even though the inn was quite busy somehow the staff managed the small dining room turnover very well and we always got a table. It was great staying in a place with so much history and charm.

The room was big enough, in a good location and comfortable. Really enjoyed the coffee machine and breakfast

The rooms very comfortable and warm with the air conditioning unit quiet when providing heating for the cool night. The room must have been well insulated since the unit did not have to operate very often. The breakfast was exceptional given the price and location was convenient for I95 and the centre of Kennebunk. Staff were very helpful and the host for breakfast was extremely friendly and helpful. Value was exceptional.

Clean, cozy room. Good location within town. Air conditioning in both rooms, cozy gas fireplace. Good breakfast. Good staff.

The setting is beautiful, and the room was spacious and nicely decorated. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The lodge is conveniently located but still private.
