Hotel Joaquin, Casa Laguna Hotel & Spa, and Laguna Beach House are some of the popular hotels in Laguna Beach.
The hotel is a motel type facility with onsite parking. The daily rate and extra costs are a little pricy. The aircondition was loud. Beds very comfortable. Nice pools and easy access to the beach and center of town.
Such a cute beach town!!! Beaches are beautiful and food was great! I stayed at Laguna Beach Lodge! Loved it! I ate at Roof Top and Driftwood Kitchen! Both had a great location, right on the beach! I liked Roof Tops food better and their service! Both had stunning views!!!
I live in Laguna Beach and I love it here. Parking is a nightmare however and there's more homeless people wandering around than I'd like. Gas is expensive here, the traffic sucks, and the restaurant prices are pretty high. However, I LOVE my town and wouldn't live anywhere else. The beauty of our beaches is legendary. We are known as the California Riviera.
This hotel is so beautiful. It is an old historic property that has been really well maintained and very beautifully decorated. There is really nice tile work. The spa and pool are very relaxing and nice. Highly recommend for a couples getaway or relaxing time on your own. Would not recommend for kids. This is an adult place.
I liked that I was close to the beach and location, but felt like I was in a box with not a single chair to sit on or table to eat off of. I could hear everything, and I mean everything in the next room. The property is really old and a water main broke leaving us with no water for a time. The service staff were nice. Valet was expensive at $38. About $16 per day for street parking. I don't recommend this place.
Laguna Beach is a beautiful part of the SoCal coast. There are great shops and restaurants everywhere, and the beaches are great for walking and sun bathing. If you are using private transportation, traffic and parking can be a real problem. Besides CA-1 (South Coast Hiway) there is only one road in or out, CA-133, and it can really back up.
Laguna Beach
This is one of the most idyllic lodges I have stayed in Laguna Beach. Celebrities spotted on Ben Browns’ Golf Course, at Harvest Restaurant and on the property. They are respected and not disturbed. Cleanliness and cordiality along with kindness was observed with all guests upon check-in. Valet is provided. Melodic Aliso Creek runs through this “einzigartig” Nat Geo Unique Lodge of the World. Time in all things and I will sip this wonderful experience ever so slowly as it’s indicated. Visiting again soon.
Cute boutique hotel. Liked the simple designs, good taste, and quietness. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool had enough chairs to accommodate all current guests. They bring you coffee in the AM at your desired waking time in your room, which was a nice detail. They have yoga on Saturday morning on the roof top, which I enjoyed. The staff communicates via text and books reservations for you around town efficiently.
Laguna Beach
Location was everything. We were right on the beach and could hear the surf every night. I loved it but my kids felt it was too loud. We traveled with our dog and the Laguna Beach laws regarding dogs on beaches seems reasonable for SoCal. Though pricey, the dining options were excellent. Staff were all great and helpful, especially the ones working the beach.
Laguna Beach
Our seaview room was perfect, the view was nothing short of amazing. Room was a great size, comfortable, clean and in good shape. The free wine hour on the terrace was a highlight everyday. Received excelent service from Joaquin at the bar on the sun terrace, he was very helpful, friendly and went out of his way to look after guests.
Due to Covid, there was no “breakfast”, but the hotel had fresh hot coffee, hot water for tea, and prewrapped pastries to pick up, along with bottled water. As a guest of the hotel, we are our take-out meals on the roof overlooking the ocean. A gorgeous hotel with a great getaway vibe in a very central location!
We really loved our stay and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay at during our 4 days in Laguna Beach this November. The location is perfect, our room was nice and the bed soooo comfy, the dog is the sweetest, there’s a lot of breakfast options, etc. etc. Cannot recommend this place enough!
I really liked how convenient this location was in Laguna Beach. It is very central to so many of the sights where it's an easy drive or walk to anywhere you want to be. Highly recommend it. Right on the sand too!

Laguna Beach
Location is great, should be noted that it is the South side of town. Not very private, more of a motel than hotel, they have tried to update but it needs help.
Laguna Beach
We had dinner at The Loft located at Montage Laguna Beach. Staff are friendly. The Best Services around.Totally worth it. Highly recommended.
Laguna Beach
Always enjoy staying by Heisler Park and seeing Laguna Beach. We had a car to drive to other locations for visiting and sightseeing.
The location is within walking distance to the beach and a fun walk to see more of Laguna Beach shops and restaurants.
The hotel is nice, very clean and convenient.
ocean view was best
EVERYTHING!! it’s the cutest spot, so genuine and authentic, a place filled with love in every detail and the sweetest staff any one could ask for! Food was great, above American standards and the beds!! haven’t sleepy so good in years! Pool - clean and prefect temperature! staying here feels like being in paradise and the manager Zamar is a star, he made us feel so welcome and made our stay unforgettable.
Fantastic lo9cation directly across from the beach and only a few minutes into town. We received a room upgrade during our stay to a larger suite with Ocean view.. Very impressed!
