We used Libby as a home base to tour around to the Yaak, Eureka, Troy, Whitefish. It was great for that. Loved The Shed and Cabinet Mountain Brewing Co for evening meals. EXCELLENT FOOD! Loved the Evergreen Motel. Nice riverfront park. Libby itself is not the greatest...a little depressed. Didn't spend much time in Libby...just for dinner.

Libby has the potential to be very accommodating to the visitors here. If they would provide citizens with a better shopping store, we wouldn't have to travel out of town for our needs.Think about all the money we could make the town if we brought in something fresh and new.

It was a small town, but enough amenities to get supplies as needed. The views are pretty from everywhere. The wildlife was fun, but be careful driving in the evening. We ate at Burger Express once because it mentioned Gluten Free on their website and it was easiest to pick up and go.

As soon as we entered the lobby we were well taken care of. The front desk attendant was attentive and very nice. We were just WOWED by our room. Way nicer than we expected for the price we paid. The variety of breakfast food far surpassed what is normally available in this price range even during limited availability due to COVID restrictions. I would stay here again in a heart beat!!

It is a small town, no big malls, no Cineplexes, no winter crowds. Friendly people. All the conveniences (supermarket, specialty shops, banks, public services) within a short walk in any direction. No trash. No bars on the windows. No graffiti. Beautiful murals. Lovely, well-maintained old homes. Few apartments and no condos. The most traffic congestion we saw was when cars stopped to allow a small herd of deer cross the main street. Great restaurants: the Venture Inn, the Switchback, the Past Time, and the Cabinet Mountain Brewery. Just the kind of place we have dreamed of staying when we retire and are ready to slow down.

This is classic Montana. Snow-capped mountains in every direction. Huge lake for swimming/boating/fishing. A racing river that was one location for a hit movie. Good accommodations and food.
