Stayed in the back nestled away from the roadway traffic. Call property management to see if you're allowed to bring a small dog under 25 lbs and house broken to stay on premises.
Clean hardwood laminate flooring along with a table and chairs (covered chair cushions (stained) with a towel before sitting).
Entry door into the room do not turn off the light switch for this controls the fridge and microwave.

I honestly didn't spend much time in the town of Mathis,...
I honestly didn't spend much time in the town of Mathis, there was 2 convince stores and a couple motels in said town with a Chinese restaurant in front of the motel in which we stayed that's really all I know of as far as the town. I went out to the ocean and deep sea fishing so I wasn't in town other then to sleep really. The room was what I expected it could have been a bit cleaner for instance hair in the bath tub when I got there. I just cleaned it myself everything else was clean and in working order the parking lot was a bit rough, however it was paved with speed bumps. The people were nice enough. I enjoyed the 4 days and 3 nights we were there. We will book a room there again when we go again.
