Morgantown is located in an area with many hotels,restaurants, and near many tourist locations,beautiful mountain & water activities. Went to Beckley Exhibition Coal Min,and to Mauland ( an hour away) to have a great seafood,and steak dinner ,with friends, at Dutch's at Silvertree Restaurants,Oakland,Maryland.

I am so happy that I decided to get my cancer surgery at WVU...
I am so happy that I decided to get my cancer surgery at WVU hospital. I was amazed at how large it is, but I was more impressed with the kindness and politeness of the people who work in the Ruby Memorial Hospital I was also delighted to see all of the large buildings that we have in West Virginia, but since I have to have surgery, I was focused mostly on the hospital and the people working there couldn’t be any kinder than what they were to me.

Morgantown is a vibrant university town with a rapidly expanding medical center in its newer campus that covers all medical and surgical specialties. WVU sports attracts many loyal and exuberant Mountaineer fans who live in and out of state, so book your stays early and make reservations at the Holiday Inn University so you will be within a few minutes of the Coliseum for Big 12 basketball and the football stadium for football. Let’s go Mountaineers!

The room was clean and in good condition.
The room was clean and in good condition. Albeit I personally have issues with the facility not applying earned discounts as expected, for most travelers this would not be an issue.
As with most "free breakfasts" provided in motels, personally I would recommend going elsewhere for breakfast, time permitting.

I was in Morgantown for medical reasons, so I didn’t see a...
I was in Morgantown for medical reasons, so I didn’t see a lot of sights. I found that getting to the medical center was pretty straight forward. Since I just moved to West Virginia last year, I am impressed with most of the older cities. A lot of interesting architecture in the churches, older city buildings and older hotels. Since I had an Applebees next to my hotel, I had good meals. I found that getting in and out of the city was not too complicated.

Breakfast was good, location great, after doing a load of washing then loading the dryer, the coin slot was broken in the dryer, the girl at the desk let me use the hotel dryer which was fantastic and very quick. Loved the elevator as we had a lot of luggage.

We loved this hotel. The location is great. The rooms are big and I loved the little kitchenette and living room. The breakfast was awesome- we loved making our own fresh waffles every morning. Will stay here again.
