Loved being on the first floor and on a corner room. Easiest access to the pool and beach. Very close walk. Host was very easy to get a hold of. I booked my trip a few hours before leaving town and it was easy to get the door code.

Great location, was very clean and well maintained. The owner was in constant contact with me before and during my stay which I was very pleased with. Loved the layout of the condo. With the main bedroom on bottom floor and kitchen and living area on second floor. Then having the other two bedrooms on the third floor for the kids. We will definitely be doing this rental again in the future.

This hotel is very comfortable and clean! The staff are obviously hardworking and caring! Everything was above my expectations including the self serve breakfast. I regret that I wasn’t able to use the pool which was setup for a family outing or just a swim! It too was very well maintained!

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! Everything was spotlessly clean, and the whole place smelled amazing. We got such a warm welcome and were even able to check in early at no extra charge. The breakfast was delicious and really generous — lots of options with both hot and cold dishes. The location is perfect, 10 min. walk to a beautiful beach. We felt totally comfortable and very welcome the whole stay! Safe neighborhood.

Spacious parking lot. Wonderful room. I would like to have been able to open the window and hear the waves. But considering the level of humidity, I understand why they don't allow it. And safety reasons of course. Also the balcony could be separated between rooms and create a nice sitting space. Pack light because there's no elevator. 😅😅 I definitely recommend the place! It's beautiful, quiet, clean and the staff is great.

The beaches were the best part.

The beaches were the best part. Food was cheaper off the island and good. There were about 1000 police on the island the whole trip always pulling people over enough to deter us from coming back most likely. I may visit another island next time due to the fact that every block had about 3 or 4 policeman waiting to pull people over at all times. Flock cameras everywhere too enough to make me not feel welcome or wanted.

First of all, we have 3 favorite spots here on Padre Island!

First of all, we have 3 favorite spots here on Padre Island! White Cap Beach with the bathrooms and shower, the disappearing beach south of Bob Hall Pier! Can't drive in very far and park. Miss our bonfires! JB Luby Park, is our other favorite! Convenient, clean water and beaches. We missed the Seaweed this year! Beaches looked very clean as well as the water being clear and blue! Sometimes, we have to go Mustang Island State Park on our last day when having a shower available is important, before driving home on the last day! I would like to give shout out to Surfside Sandwich Shop, 15113 S P I Drive! Grilled Cubans and Grill Pastramis are to die for!

as a native Corpus Christian, i always try to take advantage...

as a native Corpus Christian, i always try to take advantage to come home and hang out on the island like i did while i was still in Jr. High and HS, and parts here and there during my college years. now even more so now that my daughter was born. so i try to come home and give her the experience that i had when i was growing up at her age. any chance i can get for a weekend during the spring, summer and early fall, i will do my best to get down there and park my feet in the sand.

Don't expect great seafood.

Don't expect great seafood. If you lower your expectation, you'll be happier. The breakfast at Andy's is great. HEB Plus has great prepared food and cheaper. I like Padre Island better than Galveston Island.

We enjoyed the beaches and had really good food. Doc's was a favorite as well as a steak and seafood place just a little north of us. Maybe Captain's something. I don't remember. Full moon at the beach was amazing!

Padre Island is a great get away.

Padre Island is a great get away. I'd recommend it over Port A. The grocery store is a 10 min drive and there are plenty of great food choices. Ask some of the locals about good places to grab dinner- it's well worth it. The beaches and waves are always fun to hang out. If you enjoy the waves, invest in a good boogie board. If you park on the beach, make sure to get a parking pass. There's public parking which has showers and bathroom. We visit the Corpus area often and choose to stay at a condo on Padre Island. I always feel like I got away and didn't spend a fortune. Don't expect to find good seashells if that's what you're looking for.

the location was great, the house was beautiful and very well decorated. All the amenities and the souvenirs we got, we loved them. Also hen we had an issue with our microwave they acted and responded immediately. The guy the sent was super nice and helped with some other minor things. This was our first trip to Corpus Christi and Port Aransas and we loved it. We will definitely come back to the house, or a bigger one, and certainly stary with AvantStay

The breakfast well I didn't get to have breakfast cause they serve it at 7 I had a meeting at 7 that morning the breakfast should be served at 6 am most hotel serve at 6 am very disappointed that's why I booked there cause of the breakfast just to be told breakfast nut served til 7 I was gonna have breakfast bfre my meeting at 7 but had to leave go find a place to have breakfast that morning fix that problem

Good location, nice and quiet "get away" place, comfortable beds, close to everything! The beach can be reached by walking or just drive less than 5 min away. We spend time on the beach, it was nice and family friendly. Finding local good food was not a problem and the "Boathouse" was around the corner, and was a fun place to hang out! Will definitely come back again for a weekend get away.

Nice apartment, would stay again! Everything was very clean. The apartment is convenient, there is plenty of parking, the beds are comfortable and there is enough water pressure and warm water. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Padre island then this is a good option.
