I wasn’t able to stay on the property. our original booking was with red roof inn, the owner contacted me stating that we have to move our reservation to his other motel, the motel 6 due to flooding(which was a lie because we went over there and they were packed) The motel was a horrible place. As we were walking into the room, we saw a rat!

None of the staff understood or spoke English except the front desk ladies. 3rd floor hallway strongly smelled like food cooking and garlicky and it permeated into our room. Halls and elevator very hot and musty. Air unit was very loud disturbing sleep at night, bathroom door would not stay open and was hot, not enough handicap parking and my husband is a disabled veteran and had to park out to the curb. Shower/tub had scum in corner. Vending machines stayed empty whole time we were there. I will not stay there again, and I will not recommend it to anyone else.

The Front Desk Clerk at the BW Bradbury Suites recommended The Swanson for dinner. We took her suggestion and had a very memorable dinner in this Victorian Home in the historic district of downtown Perry. This restaurant was elegant! Table linen, fresh flowers on each table and a selection of wonderful southern dishes that were fresh, hot and tasty. The directions from the hotel seemed confusing to an out-of-towner but were perfect. after being in the car all day we didn't fell as though we were dressed appropriately but in watching others it was casual. Local people were very conversational. Outstanding service, quality, and VERY affordable.

The couple that was running the Inn were the rudest people I have encountered in my many hotel experiences! They charged me $25.00 for my service animal because they said that I was trying to hide him! I by law do not have to inform the hotel if I have a service animal because they are NOT A PET! Instead of being professional and asking me, they just charged my card $25.00!! When I asked why I had an extra charge on my card they were extremely rude and in my opinion have no business running one of your hotels! I don't owe them ANYTHING! Being a paying customer you would think that they would treat their guests nicer, instead of acting like they were doing me a favor by renting me 2 rooms!

The hotel was good for the money.
The hotel was good for the money. The beds were comfy, the AC worked very well. It was very quiet in the area.
The room itself was clean and sufficient. The bathroom could have been a bit bigger. The shower worked well, however the tub part would not hold water.
Not sure if the pool was opened or not. Could have been a few more towels and toiletry items being that there was no housekeeping during stay due to covid.
Other than that, I would stay there again due to the price.
We needed to be close to the fairground. 8-10 minutes walk. Loved the pool as it was so hot. Staff were friendly and professional. Beds were comfortable. Cheap washer and dryer and we appreciated the complimentary laundry liquid. Cracker barrel and waffle house right next door. Plenty of parking. Price reflected the property and facilities. We stayed 9 days.
Our check-in experience was fantastic, especially given the fact that we had a late night arrival. The young woman who gave us our keys and introduction to the facility was super friendly and helpful. The bed in our room was exceptionally comfortable and the room and hotel was incredibly clean. Will definitely stay there again!
