    Breakfast was fresh and tasty!

Breakfast was fresh and tasty! Checking in was easy and lady at check-in was very welcoming and professional. Area is partially industrial and partially "uppity" shops/restaurants. If you're out walking or running, just make sure you go in the "best" direction. Good location near freeway access, but not freeway noise or traffic. On the edge of downtown Portland which used to be a "mess" (covid & riots & homeless) but seems to be getting much better. The Portland area is incredibly beautiful and interesting, especially in the spring/summer/fall.

Despite what you may have heard, Portland is a terrific place to visit, especially in summer. Getting around is relatively easy with a car, even with the ubiquitous road construction. There are fun, unique neighborhoods to visit, great restaurants and interesting attractions, from the international Rose Test Garden, the Japanese Garden, taking in a MLS Timbers soccer match, the art museum or just wandering the waterfront along the Willamette River.

We took a tour to Cannon Beach and the coastline, which was great. Didn't stay in the city, only saw it with our car rental from the airport. The highways were great, easy on off, getting around was easy for us. We enjoyed the Food Pod Court cuisine. The outdoors was our favorite place to be. So many beautiful trees and flowers. No rain on us fantastic.

    Wonderful city to visit.

Wonderful city to visit. Lots of 'touristy' things to do that don't feel overcrowded. MUST visit the outstanding Portland Zoo, Japanese Gardens and Grotto - AND Powell's Book store. Love the greenery everywhere, the beach / coastline was gorgeous and peaceful. The city seemed much cleaner than LA, and although had some homeless, the situation wasn't as bad as other cities.

Incredible variety of things to see and do, from walking tours to dinner cruises. Food options from gourmet rooftop restaurants to multiple food truck pods. Aerial tram ride for about $4, with optional 4T trail hike. Largest urban wilderness park in country. Picturesque riverwalk along the river, which is spanned by multiple bridges, including Tillicum Crossing for bikes & pedestrians only. Also the beautiful Gothic St.Johns suspension bridge anchored in the expansive Cathedral Park.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It was so fancy. I loved that you had to use your card to access any part of hotel; elevators, pool, spa, meditation room. It provides a sense of safety especially being so close to downtown and the state of people around those parts. I loved the food from room service as well. Delicious and prompt.
