Location was great. Right on the square downtown. Many great restaurants & bars. Beautiful old hotel. Very clean. Staff was wonderful. Enjoyed the music in the huge lobby bar & they just opened a cool speak easy in the basement. Complimentary water bottles were appreciated.

Rooms were clean and nice sizes. Did not like being on the second floor where there was a balcony that led to the parking area. Seemed like a weird setup that was not appealing. Breakfast was typical breakfast. Nothing special about it. Fruit selection was poor as didn't have any fresh fruit just canned peaches. Not appealing. Did not have individual containers of yogurt but had a yogurt machine that was self serve with only strawberry flavored yogurt. Toppings were stale.

This is a historical property right in the middle of Whiskey Row and across the street from the Courthouse Square, lovely community walk around square with large trees and benches, we love the location. The rooms are done very nicely, to period and very comfortable, we were close to hiking, kayaking and restaurants! They also have very nice event space!!

Prescott was a wonderful and unexpected trip. The town is very historical and very clean. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed walking around downtown and visiting Whiskey Row, where there are saloons, (just for your information, the employees of these saloons and taverns dress in old western garb, so that you feel that you are back in a western movie), taverns, restaurants, shopping and other wonderful things to see and do. The surrounding area is beautiful. There are wonderful day hiking trips, that are not strenuous. The beauty will amaze you.

The Holiday Inn Express was an excellent place to stay.
The Holiday Inn Express was an excellent place to stay. We hiked all over the area, kayaked with Prescott Outdoors, and ate at wonderful restaurants, notably St. Michael’s Bistro, Limoncello’s and Bear and Dragon Restaurant. We also stopped to feast on delectable French pastries at Pangaea. Prescott is within easy driving distance of Sedona, Williams, Flagstaff, and the Grand Canyon. We are definitely coming back!

The shops are unique.
The shops are unique. There is a small town feel throughout with many musical events happening that are free with talented people. The bar scenes are busy but safe. Fun. Elks Theater has many musical events as well. The lakes around are excellent for fishing or hiking. m

Fun to go when there's some sort of event going on at Courthouse Square. Several lakes nearby to relax and lots of hiking trails. Noticed gas was cheaper here too(Memorial Day weekend '24). Nice day trip from PHX to cool off. Lots of shopping nearby in Prescott Valley.

The view was beautiful from our room with a balcony, but there is no seating to sit outside to enjoy the view...the room was run down and the facilities were not in the greatest shape...We even upgraded and paid for a better room, so I am not sure what a regular room would have looked like...this is not a $250-300 night hotel room...Parking was terrible as they were having parties and the guests have no where to park, without walking a long way
The breakfast was great, it had good verity and it wasn't the same every day. We enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio at the firepit. The staff was friendly and attentive. The facility was kept clean. The location is central to everything. Close to downtown, lakes and shopping.
The view was spectacular. The hotel lobby and patio facilities were beautiful. The staff was very pleasant. The location on a hilltop in Prescott was very good.
