Easy access to our room and a clean room. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was friendly and helpful. When it was time to go home it was so easy to get our highway , 476 PA turnpike because it was right across the road from our motel.
Bucks County Honey Co. On John Fries Rd (633) A MUST for local raw honey! Hills and farms, clean air and nice people. Naturally traffic is thicker in some spots but nothing like a bumper to bumper jam-it keeps moving! PLENTY of large shopping centers and so many great places to eat. Worship of every type is close by. I definitely suggest have a GPS or an up to date paper map as there are country roads there (SO BEAUTIFUL), and it's easy to get mis-directed if you're unfamiliar with t he areas. Bethlehem is a 30 minute drive if that and what a beautiful historic town with VERY much to do and family friendly. Lots of museums! I didn't eat at any of the local eatery's, just Chic-Fillet and it was EXCELLENT! I brought most of my own food. If I could, I would certainly move to Quakertown with a willingness to commute. I have no idea of the employment opportunities as mine was a leisure trip.
The location was great; very easy to find and access. The bed was very comfortable and the room was pretty quiet. My sister and I met up there and had a nice (although brief) stay. We ate dinner at Fries' Rebellion - very tasty and friendly restaurant/pub.
The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were rude, including the manager. The indoor pool area was poorly ventilated causeing several kids to get sick while we were there, and management refused to ackowledge the issue, and also alerted us that their maintenance staff did not work on the weekends so they could not look into the issue further. I have never stayed at a hotel who did not have 24 hr maintenance at hand....Next time we will book at either the Springhill Suites, or Holiday Inn located across the street. We come every summer for a baseball tournament. Breakfast was good, and we had a good meal at the diner across the street.
Quakertown is a wonderful town with an interesting history and lots of great architecture. There are many restaurants to choose from and outlets for bargain shopping. The surrounding area is beautiful PA countryside and Lake Nockamixon State Park offers hiking, swimming, boating and all sorts of outdoor activities.
