Santa Barbara is a beautiful city.
Santa Barbara is a beautiful city. Over the years that we have traveled there, the city is easy to get around. The beaches and harbor area are beautiful and make for excellent walking. There is a lot of California history in Santa Barbara, especially with the Mission. Wonderful restaurants over the the entire city. Harry's is very popular as well as restaurants along the Cabrillo Blvd.

Santa Barbara is a great place to experience a wide variety of activities. Great restaurants, plenty to see and do, especially if you like beach and ocean activities. But. Be careful, the downtown and beach front areas have become overwhelmed by all variety of people, especially young ones riding various types of e-bikes and scooters traveling at excessive speeds to be safe. Santa Barbara is the most beautiful place we wish we could have stayed longer. Everywhere is clean and tidy. The beaches are sandy and welcoming. There are plenty of lovely places to each and relax.

The hotel location is a 10. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and we were able to upgrade to a nicer room. My only disappointment was the extra $50 per night in fees and the $33 per night parking charge when there was ample parking and we parked ourselves. This should definitely be included in the cost. We loved the old mission and spend a lot of time in the hotel. I didn‘t like the pier. Everywhere were cars and parking lots instead of nice sitting opportunities. there were a lot of homeless people, too.

Other than that, the room also have a coffee machine and free coffee. The hotel also has an onsite laundry that the guest can use. It also has a restaurant that is open until 8:30pm. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Great hotel and I can recommend it to anyone.

The bathroom especially the shower were very good with no major issues. The room was well heated. The location was very good as it was within walking distance of Mission Santa Barbara in a very nice area. There was a bus stop right outside the motel so one could easily reach downtown. Both the man and woman I dealt with were very friendly and helpful.
