Offering a seasonal outdoor pool, hot tub and day spa, Oregon Garden Resort is located in Silverton and features an 80-acre botanical garden. Free Wi-Fi access is available in this lodge. Wonderful stay. Big, comfy room. Very much looking forward to coming back!!
Located a 45 minute drive from Portland International Airport, this Woodburn motel features free parking. Each guest room includes free Wi-Fi. OGA Golf Course is 3 miles away. Room was very large. The bathroom was nicely updated. The bed was comfortable enough. It was very clean and tidy. I was quite disconcerted by the reception security of locked door and then transacting through a wicket. Made me wonder if we were in a safe part of town or not....
Laundry facilities and 24-hour reception is available at this motel. Rooms feature free Wi-Fi and cable TV. OGA Golf Course is 2.5 miles from the property. Our stay at woodburn inn was the most pleasant of all 6 weeks we have been traveling. The young lady that checked me in had a welcoming smile and was so sweet. The day I checked in was extremely stressful due to my hot water tank blowing up in my travel trailer. She checked me in early which dropped my stress level from a 10 to a 4. I opened the door to the room and sighed a big breathe of relief. It was gorgeous and so inviting. Even though they are limited on parking they still accommodated me by letting park my trailer on the street and giving me a room close by so I could keep an eye on it. On the internet it said they were pet friendly so I thought I could have my cats with me. Two days into our six night stay a man I believed to be the manager let me know they dont allow pets. The woodburn inn was gracious enough to let me pay a pet deposit and keep my babies with me. They did not have to do that and I was sincerely grateful. I think they changed the typo on the internet right after. I am so appreciative for the kindness of the staff and how they made us feel at home. Overall I give the woodburn inn a A++ and will recommend it to anyone that travels to woodburn or surrounding areas.
Located off Interstate 5, this pet-friendly Salem hotel features an indoor pool and hot tub. It serves daily continental breakfast that includes waffles and offers guest rooms with free Wi-Fi. Beautiful rooms and great employees. Very accommodating and eager to make your stay a wonderful experience.
Boasting an indoor pool and hot tub, this Salem, Oregon hotel offers guests a daily complimentary full breakfast. The Days Inn Black Bear also features a tennis court, sauna, and fitness center. The location suited us, next to Fred Meyer and Denny’s and a reasonable distance away from the town so we were able to walk in, about 3 miles, and catch a bus back to right outside the hotel. The room is large, with coffeemaker, microwave, fridge and two large comfortable beds. The a/c unit is really good and quickly got our room to a comfortable temperature. The bathroom has a high level window that slides, so natural light and ventilation. Breakfast had quite a good selection which was varied from day to day and it was taken in a spacious room with lots of tables and chairs. The gardens are well maintained with grass areas and trees. Reception staff and breakfast room staff were friendly and helpful. Car park and WiFi are free.
Silverton was a very laid back atmosphere. Some great history and the locals very friendly and accommodating. Nice to sit back in the afternoon and watch the herd of cows walk down the main street and in the morning hand feed the donkeys. Silverton Hotel #1
While I have been to Silver Falls State Park many times. This time I devoted the weekend to The Oregon Gardens. The gardens are beautiful. I stayed there onsite at the resort. It was a very nice stay. Lovely room. If you go for the gardens be sure to visit the onsite restaurant.
Right now with the Covid restrictions, not all businesses can open full capacity. but Silverton is a very charming town with wonderful eateries and terrific antique shops. After a morning of a long hike/walk at Silver Falls State Park, we like to stop in Silverton for lunch then browse the shops.
A sweet little town with breweries and wineries close by. Mt Angel Abbey is a delightful Benedictine Monastery that is well worth a visit. They have a fantastic library that is huge as well as a museum and of course, one can pray with the Monks and Brothers at the Church.
I stayed on the main street with easy access to the many very quaint shops and wonderful restaurants that sit right on the creek! We easily found the Oregon Gardens which are very close to Silverton, and a beautiful attraction. The only problem we had was navigating the many one way streets!
Lots of cafes and restaurants and breweries. Great murals on some buildings. A must is a visit to the silver falls national park. 5$ to park for the day. Gordon house is also a must if u r interested in Frank Lloyd Wright. We went to Silverton Wine and restaurant which has a terrace on the river. The Gallon and Silver falls brewery have great selection of beers and food. Mac’s place has a terrace by the river too and it is possible to smoke there.
Wonderful stay. Big, comfy room. Very much looking forward to coming back!!
