Excellent location within walking distance of Zion. Large, comfy & clean room with free bottled water. We loved the location and the ease of getting into the park. We could just leave our car at the hotel and walk in, then take the free bus service around the park (you aren't allowed to drive around in the summer). We went food shopping at Sol's and we had delicious dinners at Whiptail Grills and at Zion Pizza and Noodle Co. in town. The hotel offers you a free shuttle into town and a free pick-up, which is amazing and avoids having to fight for parking at local restaurants.

Charming town, but a bit of a tourist trap. Prices are steep, but the shops and restaurants and staff are all super profesh. Ate out three times, and got relatively mediocre meals (may not know the right places). We just dropped in to places, and probably should have researched more. Only one "bar" (Zion Canyon Brew Pub, too packed to check it out, closes at 10 p.m., thus not much night life), the rest are restaurants that serve beer and booze with food.

Zion Natl park is the only reason to visit Springdale.
Zion Natl park is the only reason to visit Springdale. The town is clean, updated, even a bit trendy in atmosphere. Like many tourist venues, the restaurants are a bit pricey, but there is a wide selection and the food is good. There is parking at many establishments, but the best way to get around is the free bus shuttle.

Planning an overnight trip from Las Vegas to Zion?
Planning an overnight trip from Las Vegas to Zion? Look no further than Springdale. This town is not like any other overpriced & underwhelming tourist place, simply because it's outside of a National Park. Springdale has affordable hotels with pools & hot tubs to relax after a day outdoors, plenty of different restaurants and cuisines for foodies, and it's a very family-friendly town. Next up, getting around Springdale is easy. You can get to the Zion National Park's visitor center with the city's free buses during the day, but note that they are not 24 hours. If you have a car, you can get to the Canyon Overlook trailhead (through the tunnels) in ~20 minutes - it really is the practical location. Oh one more thing, if you're crossing the street, make sure to grab a red crossing flag to increase your visibility (especially at night).

Springdale is well located for visitors to either Zion National Park (closest) or Byrce National Park as well as numerous state parks and recreational areas. The one thing I felt that was lacking was more food options. It seemed that most eating options were on the high end pricewise.
Very close to national Park entrance and 10min walk to park visiter centre. Can start the Watchman Trailer from the hotel. The room itself was very spacious, just by river and the pool/jacuzzi. The food at dinner at breakfast Was also excellent. The Staffel very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.
Nice spacious room, nice beds and bathroom. Hotel is very near the park entrance, 10-15mins walk to the shuttle bus.
Staff very helpfull. Would like to have done some of the yoga sessions they offer but was too busy exploring the park.
Nice restfull grounds, quiet and safe. Nice pool
Lovely swimming pool with great views and nice breakfast to start the day. Hotel is very close to the Springdale shuttle so you won’t need your car to Zion NP.
