Room was dirty.

Room was dirty. Water on bathroom floor from toilet leaking. Bathtub rusted and stained including walls and ceiling panels falling. Cockroaches in bathroom. WIndow drapes dirty and had holes in them. Window was dirty. Breakfast area air conditoning was not working. One of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in.

Room was full of mold. We couldn't breathe. We were checked out within 15 minutes of arrival. They did refund our money right away. The staff knew there were issues. Please do not stop here. Never seen anything like it.

Everything but ONE thing was great.

Everything but ONE thing was great. Routinely, even if a guest has paid through another party, their credit card us run through at check in. Supposedly, just in case the guest wants to purchase something. No mention of what was about to happen. When we got home, I looked at my banking online only to find that my card had been CHARGED $20! We never purchased anything! When I called the desk from my home, I was informed it would be returned to my card in 5 to 7 business days! I have a common phrase for what I think of this, but I won't put it here. I did NOT USE my card, I should not have to see ANY charge on it, much less have to WAIT a week or more for the correction. I am very UNHAPPY about this.

Front desk staff was efficient, the hotel was very clean and the buffet breakfast was included making it a great value stay. The hotel was very close off the highway exit which makes travel time good. Nothing negative to say about this place for sure.

Statesville is a great place because it's friendly, has great restaurants, is close to two major interstates, is relatively safe. The Fairfield Marriott is a great place to stay because of its friendly staff and it is beautiful and clean.

Lots of road construction, on a budget this trip, passing through, I think the towels were not washed properly as I had this distinct smell on my hands afterwards, next time I would rather pay more for a better hotel.

Quick friendly Checkin , no hassles had the room within minutes of arrival , very nice very clean spacious rooms, whole hotel looked clean and everything worked as it should plenty of parking, surprisingly quiet given vicinity to highway .Best feature were exceptionally comfortable beds , it’s subjective but they were in my view excellent slept well which is rare indeed , great breakfast more than enough to get the day going , we had a great experience and were well rested and after many hours on the road .

The staff was friendly and attentive. I would like to give extra compliment to Tim! My power cord fir my MacBook was damaged by the outlet in the room. After coming to the room to check it, he said that he felt bad that it caused my power cord to not work, that he may a way for it to be replaced. Thank you, Tim and Courtyard Statesville

I really liked that you can be with your dog. The fee for the dog was 15 dollars. I really liked that the pool is cleaned very well in the morning by a hotel employee. Good breakfasts. Even close to shops.
