The place is old and outdated but this is the 2nd time my family has stayed there and my kids love it. It has a large pool, 3 hot tubs and 2 saunas. The cost is great for the Stowe area so it is a good deal for the money.

Went to Emily's covered bridge.

Went to Emily's covered bridge. On the way back down was spectacular views! Don't forget the gondola ride up Mt. Mansfield as well as the toll road. Getting around was easy as most things were on the main strip. We ate at many places but was sticker shocked on food prices. I don't mind spending but some things were WAY overpriced! All in all it was a fun relaxing trip after getting a room. The first place wasn't accessible so we went across the street and luckily they had a room for us.. Money was refunded for the other place and they apologized.

Stowe is magical, great restaurants with fantastic meal choices and exceptional staffs,. Views abound. Great programs and good times. We will continue returning to the vacation capital of the east Green mountain is great for breakfast Harrisons is best for steak, venison and rack of lamb. Outstanding atmosphere Salute is great for everything on the menue , Get to Edson Farm as soon as you can , very small but over the top.

Stowe is probably the best all-round ski resort in the...

Stowe is probably the best all-round ski resort in the Northeast, at least of those I've visited. The mountain has it all: Steeps, cruisers, glades, woods, a good layout, no long flat run-outs, plenty of options. (Hayride, while rated blue, can be awful mid-season, as it gets slick and crowded; there are better trails nearby; generally pick natural-snow trails when you can. )There's access to the backcountry if that's your thing. The snow is about as reliable as it gets in New England, and the season lasts deep into the spring. The lines can be long on weekends, and there's no denying it's spendy. But it's also authentic (except for the Spruce Peak base; it's a faux resort village, though the buildings are attractive). There's good cross country and backcountry skiing there, too. Tip: Ride the free bus or get four people together to park for free. Make your base at Mansfield or the gondola, and enjoy authentic apres at the Mansfield Lodge.

Stowe is fun. Not over done like so many resort towns. This place is much more authentic and the people were very nice. They actually wanted to talk and appreciated visitors. Lots of fun places to pop into - don't miss Lake Champlain chocolates. The Field Guide Inn has live entertainment and a wonderful lobby space with fireplaces and games.

Stowe Vermont is a beautiful town with plenty of activities for the outdoor enthusiast. The hiking is spectacular. There are also plenty of great restaurants to choose from that accommodate a variety of dietary preferences.

The property was clean, tidy and modern. We absolutely loved this hotel and the fact that the bar and entertainment area was separate but on the property. This hotel offers exceptional customer experience right from beginning. Huge shout out to the awesome bloke at the bar that ensured that we were looked after at the bar, he gave us outstanding service and made us feel welcome, thank you mate, you are an absolute legend 🙌🏽

Simply one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Atmosphere, history, decor, position - the Trapp Family Lodge has it all. Slightly outside the bustle of Stowe, the views are stunning. Get a room with a view across the valley and you won't be disappointed! Restaurant menu and quality of food superb. Plenty of walks and attractions on site or a short drive into Stowe but we didn't want to leave the hotel!

The location is awesome, close to multiple hiking and biking trails and a few minutes by car from Stowe downtown. I liked the two trash bins in the room - regular trash and recycling - I liked the back of the building , the nice meadow with the river and the outdoor seating area. The wooden wall behind the bed made the atmosphere cozier.

The Location Spot on for exploring Stowe! The Staff always welcomed with a big smile and warm welcome! The facilities: eatery was great with awesome view of the cool bowling alleys! Swimming pool and jacuzzi just lovely! And washing facilities! It has everything!
