Alchemist was one of the best breweries we tried in Vermont.

Alchemist was one of the best breweries we tried in Vermont. It was cool to visit the Von Trapp property and hike, eat, and drink there even though we weren't staying there. The 5-mile paved trail along the river in Stowe was amazing to ride/run and be able to stop at restaurants as needed for food and drink along the way. We mainly visited the hiking and mountain bike trails up near Smuggler's Notch and the scenery and views there are amazing!

We hadn't been back to Stowe for several years and it was as enchanting as we remembered. We enjoyed great walks downtown, ate way too much but the service, the people, the hotel were just perfect to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary!

Stowe is the quintessential New England town.

Stowe is the quintessential New England town. Even though it was not snow season, we were busy in Stowe and the surrounding areas (less than 30 minutes away). If you have a passport bring it, we wished we thought about our passports and would have driven to Canada to enjoy the beauty of Quebec City. We also visited The Backyard Restaurant twice because the food, mock tails and service were great! The towns people were very friendly.

Stowe in the summer is a great destination for outdoor activities, and it has the infrastructure for tourism - restaurants, grocery stores, rental services, etc... We hiked a lot, biked some, and spent a little bit of time 'wild swimming' in the pools under a waterfall - we only wish the weather had been more cooperative with our plans.

Nice town; I've visited here a few times before. Plenty of restaurants. Excellent motorcycling roads. Places to purchase wine and groceries. Nice place for me to visit and ride motorcycle in mountains. Also close to Quebec to get Poutine for lunch!

The location is just outside of the village of Stowe. The hotel was one of the better priced hotels on Booking.com and we were only staying for one night, so we booked this hotel. The staff at check-in was very nice and friendly. The room is large and we had two double beds but the room was dated and in need of some updating. The hotel had free parking and free wifi.

Nice and comfortable stay with my teenager. The place is very the center so you can walk to the brewery, the mini golf, the restaurant, the ici cream and even the bike/walk path. The room is decent with share bathrooms. Everything was clean. The price is fair enough for what you get, even more for Stowe area.

Really unique place to stay. Feels upmarket but still comfortable. Lots of facilities and extras you can choose such as massages. It’s nice to stay in a character property. Didn’t hear much noise from other rooms. Location in Stowe was amazing.
