Located in Whitefish, TownePlace Suites by Marriott Whitefish has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, shared lounge, and free WiFi. This place far exceeded my expectations. We usually sat down the road closer to Whitefish, where we can stroll downtown at night, but it was booked up. The customer service was amazing, The place was spotless, entertainment was great (Netlix and able to stream your own videos from your laptop to the TV) and being a suite, we got a full kitchen without an added price.

This riverside inn, less than one mile from the Whitefish city center, features a private yard and gardens. Free Wi-Fi is available in every room and within the fireside lounge. Beautiful Inn, very comfortable and just a couple of minutes by car from lovely Whitefish downtown. Our room was cozy, with a very comfortable bed and right on on small river, so you can enjoy the view and relax from the balcony. The common room is also very nice and cozy. The breakfast is very good. But especially the two young owners have been fantastic, helpful and kind, always with a smile. You can feel their passion and commitment for the inn. Thank you very much for this stay!

We are at the restaurant in the bowling alley for a couple of breakfasts. The food was very good. We also ate at the Paul Bunyan bar and grill on highway 2 on the way back from Glacier park. The food was very good there too. We did the drive up to Hungry Horse Dam. It was cool. We saw some waterfalls and a couple of deer.
The Flathead is a piece of Heaven on our planet. As far as I am concerned this place is one of the gems on earth and now it has been discovered. I have been coming here for 40 years and the best is up to now for me. Im sure the future will be good if they can manage to keep it small enough to maintain it's unique way.
Whitefish is a beautiful small town with friendly people, a great ski hill, small stores, art galleries, performing arts, and really good restaurants. The train depot is a great feature, making the town easily accessible from Portland and Seattle. Whitefish is special.
The staff was very friendly and helpful but the condo had several problems. The fireplace was disassembled, the sofa was worn out and sagging and two showers would use all the hot water. It also seemed that the owner used the lowest wattage lights available. There was never enough light.
The town and community of Whitefish is a very special place. The town is adorable, small town feel and full of many amazing shopping opportunities. There is also quite a bit of growth in the building and construction sector and a vibrant real estate market.
Whitefish is a little far from Glacier National Park, but has all the grocery stores, restaurants, etc... if you are at GNP for hiking, the East Side is probably better. Had a great time on both sides. Will be back.
So many good things about this stay. The facilities were awesome, pool was great and hot tub was even better after a long day of skiing. Downstairs game/movie room was great. I think the best part of our stay was the friendly staff, Andrea specifically. During check in Andrea was more than helpful, she was informative, answered all my questions and even let Ranger the desk dog make an appearance. So thank you Andrea, I will gladly recommend this stay to anyone heading up to whitefish.

We love staying at the Lodge; staff is always exceptional and the facility is dressed up for the Holidays! The fireplace in the room is wonderful as well as the size of the room and the amenities that are included. We don't always get to take part in the activities they provide - like, smores by the fireplace - because we are spending time in Whitefish. We will be back next year for our traditional Christmas season trip!
True ski-in....only had to walk across the parking to ski out. They had a ski room and boot room for you to store your stuff. Beds were supper comfy. Great big fire place and room to sit and visit. The popcorn and cookies with hot chocolate after a long day of fabulous skiing were a nice treat. Breakfast was simple but good. For being an old hotel it was clean and gave you a "come on in and relax" feeling.

Staff was friendly and helpful.. Loved the pool and outdoor jacuzzi. We chose your hotel because of the shuttle service from the airport and to the train station and downtown Whitefish.
Nice stopover hotel, spacious room and quiet aircon. Very good shower. Gym was small but good equipment. Breakfast was better than other hotels in this category.

The breakfast was amazing. The staff was super friendly. The beds were very comfy. The appetizers were delicious. The location was very close to downtown so it was an easy walk. The staff was a lot of help with picking out a ski rental shop and what lifts to use and runs to take at the ski area.
