The location of Mango Home on the river is tranquil, it has a beautiful lotus pond and the facilities and food is fantastic. Ben is wonderful and all the staff looked after us very well. The morning tour with Phong by local types of transport took us to family homes and showed us their livelihood, this gives a very authentic experience which we enjoyed.

The food was excellent. Local, fresh, natural, tasty and plenty of food. The host - Amy - also explained how she prepared the food and the culture behind the dishes.
The environment was magical. An oasis of calm in the coconut forests (although the neighbors love their daily karaoke) 😂 This is what want a homestay should be if you are looking to de connect from the city and be immersed in nature and tranquility.
Finally the boat tour was full on adventure. Pushed me out of my comfort zone and I'm very grateful for it ! Plus the cats there are adorable and love cuddles. The dog - Noddy - too but I'm a cat person.
Perfect homestay experience 10/10.

This is a very beautiful part of the Delta with clean canals and neighborhoods and lots of opportunities to interact with locals. We took a bike ride one day and people would say hello to us as we passed. Another day we took a tour and got to get a bigger perspective on life here. One of the most enjoyable trips we've had and the best of this 2-week vacation!

If you want to be in the heart of the Mekong Delta - better go to Can Tho. Ben Tre just has not a lot to offer. The only thing you can visit is the night market, but it is not special. Only cheap tourist stuff that you will find on every other market in Vietnam

Ben Tre/My Tho are nice if you are interested in discovering the different islands around: they all have their own speciality: honey, coconut, etc. The boat tour is lovely especially if you decide to go for a private one. The city has a beautiful pagoda that is worth visiting.

We were only at the homestay and on a boattrip one afternoon. Did’nt go to the city of Ben Tre. A couple of hours on a bicykletrip would definetly have been interresting, but with three kids, we found it too difficult.
We loved everything! Mr Thai is a legend and we enjoyed every minute. The bungalows are cute, we had no mosquitoes in the room and we got a LOT of fruit and coconuts every day. He even gave us money back for the taxi to the bus station and 3 massive pomelos from his garden as well as water for our journey. Everything was so delicious!
The boat and motorbike tours were great as well and we felt that we really got to see a real authentic part of Vietnam.
This Homestay offers a wonderful experience in Ben Tre. The house is surrounded by the nature. The hosts are so nice :) for a convenient price they also prepare delicious food for you (one of the best in Vietnam). They also offered us a tour for a convenient price and they give you for free very comfortable bicycles to explore the area (we made 70 km in the jungle, amazing!). Thank you for taking care of us :)
my best Vietnam experience by far, Amy and her family are so amazing, and they really give you a beautiful insight to mekong delta life. The food we had together and the conversation and everything she showed us on the boat tour, how to catch a fish, how to take a coconut from the tree, I will not forget. I wish I could have stayed longer. If you plan to come, stay more then just 1 night! Thank you Amy <3
Fantastic stay at the Mekong Delta. The hotel is beautiful, with a delightful view of the river. The room was very large, good bathroom and shower, the bed was confortable. The team really friendly. They've organised some beautiful tours for us - river tour, sampan. Finally, food was absolutely delicious.
Its a place to immerse yourself in the local life, and have an unforgettable experience of Vietnam.
