Coming from the city with people around you 24/7, this was an oasis of peace. The house was smack bang in the Karoo with the quintessential Karoo bossies growing all around. The only sound was that of nature. The kitchen had the most amazing ground coffee for a perfect start to the day and also a packet of delicious rusks to go with it. There was enough shampoo and lotion that you don’t have to shake the daylights out of the small bottles usually found at places. The wood provided for the braai was perfect! They also provided clean filtered water and bags of ice in the freezer. We did some hiking while we were there and spotted 2 sables, rooibokke, springbokke, a kudu and a lot of gemsbokke. All round just fabulous.

Everything was exceptional. The house is beautifully decorated and all the beds, linen and towels are of the best quality. Everything was neat and clean. There was coffee, tea, milk and sugar available for the guests, which was so convenient and welcoming, and just a lovely extra touch. The house really exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
