It was not just the fact that we had a very nice Aircon in the unit, or that the swimming pool was clean and well kept, or that the overall appearance of the Merino Inn was so well kept...it was the amazing and friendly staff at the Merino. Everyone - from the the reception staff to the bar/waiting staff - just simply exceptional. I must point out one person though - Stacey the waitress. That lady was SOO busy, but always had a smile on her face, and she was always friendly, while (literally) running between the different tables she attended. She really made our stay a little more enjoyable. I would recommend the Merino Inn to anyone and everyone. Keep up the exceptional service!!

This lodge is a hidden gem. From the Orange River in front of you during breakfast, to the game, to the amazing staff who are all genuinely happy to see you I will come back here every time I need to stop over.

excellent! I didn't realise the dinner was included. it was delicious and magical to sit outside and watch the game. liked the honesty bar and the pool to cool down after a long drive. the room was super comfortable too

Breakfast was good. The area didn’t seem bad. We didn’t spend much time driving around though. This was a quick stop for us. Rooms are beautiful and well kitted out. Comfy beds and designer touches. Grounds are lovely. Manager was very nice and personable.

We liked the location (couldn't hear the N1 traffic), the beds, the tasty rusks and the shower. The host was very friendly and welcomed us personally late in the evening. The rooms had aircons, dimmable lights and fans. Check-out was very easy when we left early the following morning. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was fantastic. Rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable and the linen and towels fresh and clean. Bathroom was super spacious and clean. Highly recommend to all
