Perfectly located by False Bay and surrounded by the majestic Simons Kloof mountains, this 4-star hotel and provides great accommodations in a fantastic location. The Breakfast was excellent but I was unsure whether it was one set item or you could choose a couple of items and drinks. The room was excellent in everyway, especially has my mother has limited mobility and she loved the sea view and panorama. It is such a shame there are so many stairs to access the lower floors to the shops and restaurant from the hotel. The hotel's parking and location are also excellent with easy access to all local amenities and sites. The staff were super friendly and efficient, especially the receptionists!
Overlooking a beautiful swimming beach, this luxurious guesthouse lies on the outskirts of Simon’s Town and offers 10 individually decorated rooms with free parking and magnificent sea views. Stunning location. Private beach is a find, fantastic swimming. World class views. Relaxed, chilled gentle experience, while also being stylish, unique, special.
Located at Boulders Beach with its famous penguin colony, Boulders Beach Hotel, Cafe and Curio shop offers rooms with attached bathroom, just 1.2 mi outside of Simon’s Town. I loved how clean the room was, the bed was incredibly comfortable. The scenery was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The aesthetic of the room is very rustic and I absolutely loved that. It was comfortable and it was good value for money.
This bed and breakfast in Simon’s Town is surrounded by the lush greenery and features stunning Indian Ocean views. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Absolutely heart broken we were only able to spend one night here! Room was large and comfortable with an unbelievable sea view. Enjoying our delicious breakfast while looking out onto False Bay was an absolute dream moment on our trip. Friendly staff and ownership.
Located above historical Simon's Town with extensive views along False Bay, this guest house offers elegantly decorated rooms with balconies and free Wi-Fi. It features a indoor, solar-heated pool. A beautifully decorated property in a nautical theme. Everything looked lovely and fresh and there was such an attention to detail in every corner. The breakfast area was so lovely looking down upon the harbour. The staff were more than accommodating and took extra steps to insure your stay was comfortable. The had a nice layout for their a.m . Complementary breakfast along with a small hot breakfast menu. The banana pancakes were delicious. The owners also worked hard to ensure your stay memorable. There was a rather steep hike up to the property because we didn’t have a car but after the first hike down to the Main Street we just had to take our time heading back. A taxi can be arranged which the owners happily arranged for us on a couple of occasions. I would definitely stay at A Boat House again if holidaying in the area.
The refurbished Sail Away Studios offer spacious self-catering accommodations located in Simon’s Town. Free WiFi access is available. Boulders Beach is a 2-minute drive away. We had a very beautiful and clean apartment with an amazing sea view. We enjoyed our time there a lot. The location was great for planning trips to the cape of good hope, the pinguine and to go surfing. We had a lot of fun there. The room was very big and comfortable. We had everything we needed.
Located in Simonʼs Town in the Western Cape region, with Long Beach and South African Naval Museum nearby, Stonebrook Apartments provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing location with spectacular views and out of the wind near the shore. Love being near the baboons and watching their antics!
Penguins View Guest house has well-equipped self-catering accommodations featuring free WiFi in Simon’s Town, a 5-minute walk from Boulders Beach. Free private parking is available on site. Everything went well. The penguins and dassies, 1 block walk, were amazingly cute.
Lovely quiet town with beautiful views. A short drive to Cape Point with spectacular views the entire route. Quaint little shops and eateries, also in Fish Hoek and Kalk Bay that are close by. Harbour House in Kalk Bay a must if you love sea food.
Take time to stroll the main St, dipping into shops (some a little pricey) or eating out. There are lots of tourist sites and hidden gems tucked out of site. A trip to Boulders Beach is a must! A visit to nearby Scratch Patch is a must for any child! Collect semi 'precious' stones and fill a small bag! My Happy Place!
The guest house is at the end of a cul-de-sac road so is very quiet. Simon's Town is towards the southern end of the Cape Peninsular so is quite far from other Cape venues and facilities, but for people wanting a peaceful holiday, the location is excellent. Main Road becomes a traffic nightmare during peak times, but most roads are in the Cape during the festive season. The nearby expressway is a quick alternative to get to other venues nearer Cape Town. There are many good restaurants and cafes nearby, some with a great view of the harbour. We never had a bad meal at Dixie's... well worth a visit.
Simon's Town is one of the most prettiest towns on the Cape peninsula with lot of this to offer, from penguins beach, to SA Naval museum to nice restaurants, cafes, shops, sea views, beaches and many other amenities to do and visit
We loved the fact that we were staying in a place that has mountains, waterfalls and beauty. Ideal for people who love the outsdoors who like going to eat and relax by the ocean for food or just a coffee. We loved walking in the mountains and visiting the penguin colony. Just wonderful. It has a lovely atmosphere with cute local shops to wander around. Just a few km away is the SAN park Cape of good hope where we spent the day just enjoying the beauty. All this 45 minutes from Cape Town. Loved it and will be back to explore further.
I have been to Simon's to Town two times now and my view of the place is that there is a sence if peace in the environment, one gets to enjoy the peace and calmness which comes with all it natural surroundings of sea and mountains. I enjoy the town so much.
The hosts, Lizette and Tom are the most welcoming and lovely people. There were flowers and chocolate waiting for me in the room, which was well-equipped with a kettle, microwave oven etc. The setting is very pretty and location ideal = penguins are within walking distance! I'm very glad I decided to choose this place as a starting point of my Southern African exploration. I think it was much better to come here instead of going directly to Cape Town's hustle and bustle.
We were birding around Cape Town with a day-long pelagic (boat trip to the continental slope 25 miles offshore). A very early start on Saturday and very tired at end of day, made staying next to the Simon's Town harbor a must. The aha Quayside is clean and quiet, restaurant downstairs had good food and great views of harbor.
The property was everything we were looking for. We couldn’t get enough of the incredible view, spacious open plan living space, and even convenient thoughtful touches to help during Cape Town’s well known load shedding moments. A massive thanks to Ronél and her wonderful hospitality!
The couple went out of there way to see everything was 100 % Probably one of the best stays I have ever had. They took their time to explain the best eating places as well as ordering a special bread for me no charge. Nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this accommodation
We had the best hosts that made us feel warm and welcomed. To Dean and Hillary you have an amazing home and waking up to the breathtaking view is just the cherry on top of all of it. Thank you for having us.
Loved the place, the hosts met us and were amazing people. The location was amazing, will definitely stay next time we visit cape town. Room was very comfortable and had an amazing view.
The hotel was conveniently located for purposes of this visit. Since the stay was only going to be aa short one, the room served its purpose - sleep and shower.
We were treated like royalty at Tintswalo Boulders. We will definitely be returning with family to this incredible boutique hotel. It exceeded all expectations.
A wonderful stay with attentive, friendly staff. Location is ideal for anyone wanting to visit the southern suburbs of Cape Town.
It was 5 star rating. Our hostess, Carmen was friendly and ready to answer any questions we had about the surroundings.
Tranquility at its best . Perfect location including breath taking sceneric views. Very spacious too.
great location, classic old hotel, lots of charm!
The hotel is beautiful
After travelling through various parts of Africa for a few months, this was the crowning glory of my trip and definitely one of the most comfortable and cozy guesthouses I ever stayed at. - The place is extremely well-kept (clearly by someone who has a loving eye for detail), peaceful, quiet, spacious and just oozes character. - My room was very cozy and came complete with a kitchenette that was better equipped than the kitchens I've seen in many holiday cottages (complementary biscuits and chocolate too!). - As if that was not enough, you get glorious sea views, a very cozy and quirky bar (though I didn't use it) and a delicious and very generous breakfast that's a visual as well as a gastronomic delight. - Location is excellent (penguins in easy walking distance) - The ladies running the place are extremely warm, welcoming hostesses who not only provided more-than-perfect, super-professional service but really made me feel at home.
Absolutely heart broken we were only able to spend one night here! Room was large and comfortable with an unbelievable sea view. Enjoying our delicious breakfast while looking out onto False Bay was an absolute dream moment on our trip. Friendly staff and ownership.
This is an fantastic apartment. Very cozy and spacius. The view is absolutely amazing. All is close - from Cape Town to Cape Horn. But mostly we went to Simons Town.. Even thoug its a small town it has a lot to offer.
Stunning location. Private beach is a find, fantastic swimming. World class views. Relaxed, chilled gentle experience, while also being stylish, unique, special.
Outstanding! Home made jams, deliciously prepared breakfasts, outstanding views of False Bay and we were treated like family.
Everything went well. The penguins and dassies, 1 block walk, were amazingly cute.
Perfect location with stunning views. Wonderful was very pleasant and helpful.
