Must be a nature lover to enjoy Witriver to it's fullest.

Must be a nature lover to enjoy Witriver to it's fullest. From Gauteng travel through the scenic Schoemanskloof. It's adjacent to Mbombela for the traveller who needs a little city vibe. Casterbridge was a great place to visit even though the shops were not all occupied. Quite a few great artists in the area, great nurseries. We had a great Greek culinary experience at Avil at Casterbridge as well as Bontanica in the Botanical gardens in Mbombela. Close to Numbi Gate of the Kruger National Park.

White River was not too busy and the popular large shops...

White River was not too busy and the popular large shops well presented. Driving in the CBD area must be done with caution due to poor road surface quality, read potholes. The local Spur Steakhouse is worth mentioning, great place to eat. This shopping mall is a good place for filling up supplies, good parking area, and close to main roads.

White river is good.

White river is good. You can self drive in kruger national park from here. Also Graskop is an hour drive so you can visit gods window, blude river canyon and all other places if you want to keep your base within white river.

to be very honest for this i need to spend more time here,...

to be very honest for this i need to spend more time here, but whole Nelspruit deserve to visit again and again. very beautiful. easy place, there are option for kids in the shopping Malls. there is not problem at all. just you more need time to explore and enjoy.

Not too far from the N4. About an hours drive to most attractions, like the Kruger, Lone Creek Falls, Lisbon Falls and God's Window. Graskop Gorge is also on the way to Blyde River Canyon. The scenery while driving makes the drive worth it.

The town isn’t the attraction, it’s around the area that...

The town isn’t the attraction, it’s around the area that allows you to enjoy white river. There are so many places to go and visit. We did excursions every morning then came to the hotel for an afternoon rest then into white river for dinner as there are so many quaint restaurants within 10km from the hotel. I would recommend visiting the antique shops and motor vehicle museum at Casterbridge lifestyle centre. Gumtreez pub and Picasso’s were our best dining experiences. Sudwala caves and the zip line were great then don’t forget to head up to Grasskop gorge and take the lift down to the canyon bottom where you can then walk around in to tropical paradise before heading back up for a relaxing meal at one of their restaurants
