Lovely historic homestead and cottage. Quiet country setting. Fresh fruit from orchard trees, fresh eggs from the chooks in the garden next to the cottage, beautifully restored old shepherd's cottage, very warm at night, with a romantic atmosphere and a very comfortable bed. We stayed in the Bentmore cottage and it was so quaint. The room was cosy, well equipped and decorated beautifully. We really enjoyed the fire place - a novelty to us coming from far North Queensland. Maureen and John were attentive hosts and made us feel very comfortable.
