The gîte is very cute, cozy and well maintained with a nice and fully stocked kitchen and a nice bathroom with a bath. It's in a beautiful, somewhat less touristy part of the Ardennes, with lots of options for walks and sightseeing close by, with some great walks starting at the front door. The park of which the gîte is a part is very green and, although it seemed to be busy, judging from the amount of parked cars, it felt like being in a cottage in the wood by yourself. The best part of it may be the reception by the host: house all clean and warm, with delicacies and a warm welcome. If we come to this part of the Ardennes again, we will be certain to return to the Heron.

Quiet little town, beautifully renovated and clean space with plenty of room for our family of 3 to spread out. Very kind host with a sweet dog we got to meet. Easy communication, and host was responsive to our need for a fan.

Located in Blaimont, 30 mi from Durbuy, Vallée Les Etoiles features a sauna and indoor pool. The resort has children's playground, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant.
