Cottages in Bakewell

Breakfast was wonderful and the hosts were very kind and welcoming.

Really high-end fittings. Quality knives, crockery, and facilities. Very comfortable bed. Very well laid out for the available space. Able to get it very cost with the log burner on a very cold night. Little welcome extras, which are a lovely touch. Very attentive host.

Beautiful decor and very comfortable and homey. A very short walk into the village center. I contacted the host to let her know some lights were not working 100%. It was no problem but she came around right away to fix. The bath tub is lovely! Lovely property. Will definitely return.

Nice cost place close to the centre

Wonderful place to stay in Bakewell. Cottage is a minutes walk away from shops etc but is lovely and quiet . Parking is in a secure and private car park next door with an allocated parking spot , couldn't be easier . Breakfast was included which was also great . Will definitely be back .

The house was lovely & clean. Felt lovely and cosy with lots of home comforts. Great location only a 5 minute walk from Bakewell centre. Facilities were great, had everything we needed. Shower was powerful and was lovely and hot. Will definitely be returning!

This apartment was one of the highlights of my four weeks traveling through the UK. Generously spacious throughout. Every room is substantially larger than most apartments I’ve stayed in. Large living room, fully functional kitchen, dining area, spacious bedroom, and an oversized bathroom with a large shower and excellent water pressure. This was the first apartment on the trip where I truly felt I had real living space — more like staying in my own home than a rental. The bed was sumptuously comfortable. Slept exceptionally well here. Location is excellent — right in the center of Bakewell and an easy walk to shops, pubs, restaurants, and the town itself. Dedicated parking just steps from the apartment made arrival and unpacking effortless, with none of the usual hassle of searching for parking. The owner was also an excellent communicator and stayed engaged throughout the visit. I had a question about operating the stove and she responded immediately by phone. Honestly wished I had booked additional nights here. Easily the nicest apartment I stayed in during this UK trip and genuinely difficult to leave. Highly recommended.

Very clean, great location, comfortable sitting area, laundry facilities available, automatic gated entrance. There were six of us and we were pleased with our 2 nights stay at Haddon Grove Farm Cottages. A couple of us went for walks in the area, which is beautiful.

The cottage was just perfect for what we needed ,the decor was wonderful & welcoming with comfortable furnishings and the surrounds of the farm land was so peaceful, a wonderful stay …

Easy communication and lock box easy to find.

The property was perfect, all the utensils and bits and pieces you need and very comfortable. The location is spot on, walking distance to everything you need and only short drives to some amazing days out. Danielle was a great host and super helpful.

Clean and cosy we had a beautiful stay was like home from home ! We didn’t want to leave we felt so at home

The house was very clean. Plenty of seating for the 7 of us staying there. The house was large enough for us. Plenty of parking. We brought 3 cars with us but could have had more. We were also provided a tower fan for each bedroom.

A lovely cottage in a pretty village. Very comfortable and beautifully presented. Dog friendly - no garden but green areas close by.
