We had a lovely overnight stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and the cabin itself was so cosy, warm and peaceful. The area is absolutely beautiful, with the canal, birds and surrounding countryside making it a lovely place to relax and switch off. We booked mainly for the fishing as it was a gift for my husband. Although the canal wasn’t quite as accessible as we expected, we don’t mind a bit of an adventure and after making our way through the trees, my husband found a brilliant spot and had a fantastic day fishing. The shower was great and the kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. It was also great for the dogs and lovely being able to let them have a little freedom around the cabin. The whole area was so quiet and peaceful, and we really enjoyed our stay.
