This place was hands down best place we stayed. House has so much character that it is hard to believe it is a rental. The bed was super comfortable and they had a crib for the baby. We wish we stayed longer and can not say enough good things. Owners are very kind and thoughtful. Location was perfect for walking to restaurants and cafes yet off the main roads for quiet and peaceful.

    This location was so peaceful and quiet. The lodge was spacious and had everything you needed for your stay and the welcome basket and milk was a fantastic touch for self catering meant you could have a cuppa on arrival. The owners were brilliant nothing was too much bother if you needed anything. Will definitely be back

    A lovely quiet location, with gorgeous views of the Caledonian canal. The hot tub is an added bonus. The lodge itself is well equipped, and is tastefully decorated. Once we had the woodburner going (logs provided) it was super cozy.
