This is truly a hidden gem in a quiet and forested corner of Argyll. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable, and full of little extras and surprises (homemade cake!) that made us feel welcome and very pampered. I would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful stay. Pod contained everything you would need. Great location, close to Lochgilphead, Ardrishaig, Crinan, Tayvallich. Restaurant / pub 2 minutes walk. Sheep grazing over the fence at the back. Standing stones within 2-3 miles. And the owners, Andrew and Iona, are friendly, engaging and available next door, if needed. Perfect.

I had a good stay here and would definitely stay again. My room was very clean; the bathroom was very new, too. I like the idea of the communal dining and kitchen areas, and made use of them. It looks as if the owner is developing these spaces and there will soon be a fully functioning kitchen. The outside maybe needs tidying but I expect that too will undergo development and this place suited me very well and exceeded expectations, given earlier reviews. Moments from the harbour and all the cafes, co-op etc. I arrived and departed from the main bus top and the location could hardly have been better.

What a cosy place to stay! It is indeed an old cottage and our room looked out over the loch. The accommodations are outstanding with a well appointed bedroom and bathroom. The bed was so comfortable! There is a communal sitting room with tons of information about Scotland. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and are very knowledgeable about Scottish history and area sights. Breakfast is served in a bright dining room overlooking the water with bird feeders attracting local birds to the garden outside. Breakfast choices were extensive and made to order. You are out in the countryside, so I recommend you have a car and the cottage does have free parking. This is the perfect way point in your travels through Scotland.

    Gorgeous cottage, comfy, cosy and easy to find. Owner was very quick to reply and was helpful. Sent lots of info before arrival too. The food in the horseshoe inn across the road is amazing, if you want a break from cooking yourself. Perfect location for exploring kilmartin area. We loved our stay here.

    Lovely cottage and great location for Kilmartin Glen and the ancient monuments there. A very comfortable bed and pleasant place. I stayed 2 nights and would happily stay again. The cottage had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped. There was plenty of helpful information about the local area including walking guides. Had we been 4 adults the living room may have felt cramped but if they were out all day and only looking for a comfortable place to sleep , they may not have minded that.

    The location and area are terrific. The ambience was very calming and refreshing. The scenery and gardens and small farm animals adorable. The house was perfect, warm and comfortable with all the utensils and facilities needed for a holiday self catering. The bed was cosy and comfortable. Added extras were fresh milk, books, movies, bubble baths etc

    This is a lovely little cottage in a quiet and scenic part of the world. Everything you would want is right on the doorstep for walking, stone circles, old castles and miles and miles of unspoilt countryside
