The cottage was perfect for our 5 day trip. It is very private, cosy, comfortable and warm. It had everything you could possibly need, even sun loungers!! Yes, it was hot!! Super happy about that because we could eat our meals in the sunshine in the cute courtyard. There is a pub just around the corner called The Brook for evening drinks in their garden. It serves food on Sundays but may also do food in the summer months from a BBQ trailer. We walked from the cottage to the coastal path. It's only about a 20 minute walk to the coast, down past the pub and then through the sports ground to the coast. It is absolutely stunning and you can walk along the coastal path east bound to Monk Haven and back via the roads to the cottage in an hour or two. There are some spectacular ruins on this walk so it's an absolute MUST! We would also recommend driving to Dale, park in the first free gravel car park and walk the coastal path around to St Anne's Head and around the peninsula. It's about 4 Hours walking time but obviously you stop and you might even swim! Skomer is also a must. I will treasure the memories!! The bluebells, sea views, birds and tranquility was mesmerising. Book well in advance and go in May or June.

The cottage was lovely, clean and tidy, it had everything we needed in a wonderful location. The little log burner was great and the kitchen was well equipped. The bed was comfy and the shower room was spotless. We couldn’t fault it.
