Cottages in Staindrop

The location of this property was perfect for us and our little dog. . It was so close to many things we wanted see and do. Walks, towns, beaches ECT. The owners were absolutely brilliant as well. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Location was central to Barnard castle.

Location, location, location. Such proximity to shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and local landmarks. We had a couple of issues with lack of storage and the back yard area not being cleaned. But they were immediately addressed to our satisfaction. Lovely interior design and a beautiful stove fire. Would definitely recommend as a unique bolthole in Barnard Castle.

This little gem of a cottage is ideally situated to explore Barnard Castle. The property is well furnished, all amenities catered for, a lovely secluded back yard where we could enjoy the morning and evening sunshine in or out of the hot tub. A well equipped kitchen, spacious bedroom, comfy lounge, spotless bathroom.

We booked this place last minute for a weekend break. Our decision was influenced by the other positive reviews, and we can only echo the previous comments. Spotlessly clean, lots of nice little extras, quiet location. Allison and Jamie were great hosts and have clearly invested a lot in taking their cottage above and beyond the functional holiday let. I hope their venture succeeds.
