The property lives up to all expectations! Perched high above a stunning bowl of landscape, our terrace almost had a 360 degree view. It is a unique 'off the beaten track' experience. Our hosts did so much to make our stay comfortable. Our apartment had so much character; cleverly designed with kitchen and sitting room on the ground floor and a comfortable bed up in the rafters. We were crazy enough to walk there and set-off with our back packs after a delicious breakfast. We just loved the beautiful scenery and wildlife along the way. An experience to be treasured!

This is a great stay not too far from the centre of Pietralunga (probably easier if you have a car). That said, the host and his wife were amazingly helpful, offering me lifts to the centre of the village and back for eating, the pharmacy and public transport connections. The room was clean, a good size and ideal for what I needed; the swimming pool was welcome too.

The Villa is high in the hills in a remote, beautiful location with views across the valley. We had a 2 bed apartment in a converted outhouse adjacent to the main house; it was beautiful, very clean, with a very well equipped kitchen. The pool was big, with nice views, floaties for the kids and a good mix of sunny and shady areas. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was really good and well priced with good vegetarian options - and a very warm, friendly chef. We loved the cats too, although our dog did not!
